What can they do? The US Navy controls the seas and the US Air Force can bomb any supply convoy they send using land routes. After the coup in Venezuela, they called for an international coalition to restore Maduro (lol). It went so well that they shut up about it after about a week and haven't mentioned it since. This time they don't even talk about a coalition, just say that they want the US to stop and that's it. Same thing with Russia. I remember European leaders being like this when Russia invaded Ukraine, so it feels very nice and satisfying to see them shaking their pants the same way.Also: this war proves that China can never take over Taiwan unless Taiwan somehow starts preferring reunification with the mainland and ousts the American presence on their own. They can do nothing militarily because they don't control the seas or the skies.
