Thats the first time I hear that my mommy dont like my other mommyin any case the EU is at best a "state in being". but in reality is just a trade zone with some small competencies attached. its less federal than even a confederation. it has no army, taxes, civil law, police etc. look at the EU budget: it's 5x smaller than even my tiny ass nationfrankly its punching way above its weight with half the world treating it as a federal state
