We've used up all the easy oil to obtain and now we're scraping the barrel. Oil generally a 200:1 ratio in obtaining it VS the energy it puts out. We will never hit that high again.As this realization sinks in, the world will only get more brutal, violent, desperate and nihilistic as the reality sets in that we cannot have the same standard of living our parents did, but nobody wants to accepts this.
