Gavin Newsom just had a talk in a big theater saying that we have to reconsider our support for Israel. All of this just made me realize that the Republican party and the right wing are the only ones that support Israel at this point. What is going on guys? Is the tide shifting?

I don't trust Newsom on this particular issue, but it is a positive development when careerists and opportunists are opposing israel.But you have Schumer and Blumenthal making some vaguely or couched antiwar statements right now, too, and they obviously support the war privately. The Democratic party broadly is good on the israel question these days, but leadership is not to be trusted.
