They've been saying this for 5 years
But coding is dead anyways, because jeets took all the jobs already

no sane and capable programmer will make a tool to replace him or her
if you get one shot 100% working code for your 'snake game' and you are convinced it is good to use it to make your vibecodeshit app with it you gonna get pwnd by a drunk romanian or south korean when they sniff out you is a noob
>>530042317
mention nvidia drivers et all imbeciles who forced their programmers to 'integrate magic tools' and do code reviews and what not so they know what 'vibe code/ai programming' means in reality

It would be funny to ask him to write some driver code for proprietary devices like nvidia gpus and he spills out internal device secrets.
>>
>>530041993
Meanwhile the vibecoded Nvidia proprietary drivers for Linux are broken 3 months now. Had to freeze the packages until Commiefornia trannies fix it.

>>530041993
The AI train keeps chugging on it seems, along with the world economy, as the models aren't plateauing yet
>>
>>530041993
AI only produces absolute shitter code and it cannot debug anything since it randomly decides broken code to be correct and will ask you to "check for typos".
The thing is, most programers used to only produce shitter code themselves, jeets where so prominent in the software development industry not cause they knew how to code but to get to a minimal viable product you don't need to know anything beyond the absolute basics.
Everyone getting replaced by AI code never should've coded before and anyone who actually manages high performance code wouldn't let AI anywhere near the codebase anyways.
>>
>>530041993
why do AItards still need to astroturf so hard? I've seen posts like this hundreds of times where they're rabidly praising some AI tool but they don't even explain what's good about it besides marketing talking points and maybe internal benchmarks
>>
>>530043986
It would also be funny to make it write exploits for certain applications or websites.

once Trump finishes deporting all the illegals, there'll be plenty of jobs as seasonal farm workers for all the displaced office slaves

Meanwhile in reality, Microjeet's AI vibe coded updates are breaking so much shit that even corporate IT departments are holding off on installing them.

>>530044178
The flip side of this is that everyone who knows how to code for real had to start as a junior developer, so we if let the AI eat up all of the junior dev roles we are setting ourselves up for an industry collapse in a few years as devs move up the chain bu there is no one left to replace them because you never gave people a chance to get that experience. The only people who will be "qualified" for those now open positions are the people willing to lie on their resumes and say they have six years of experience after a 2 week crash course.
>>

Very astute observation.

It’s over. What is true though is that grifters like in the OP are using ai to accelerate extracting attention and cash from suckers
>>

why are you telling goyim retard ?
you know full well only a seething jelly normie that has never seen a terminal would like that to be true and coping on it
while programmer demand will likely rise
we don't need more seetes we need more programfags to make those robots

You are here

>ai has replaced 75% of non-junior coders
>ai has replaced 85% of non-junior coders
>ai has replaced 95% of non-junior coders
>ai has replaced every coder that isnt at the same level as John Carmack
If you seriously think this isnt coming in your working life, and fairly soon, then you are most definetly in one of the groups being replaced.

Irrelevant, because nobody outside of a classroom writes plaintext HTML anymore. You use frameworks like javascript, react, angular, etc that functionally generate complex HTML for you with the ability to handle much more complex applications without going insane, or you use a WYSIWYG front end development environment where you build a website by just dragging and dropping shit and selecting some options from checkboxes to tell it what to do.

Front end is a pain to code in not because it is complex, but because it is finicky. A different of a couple of pixels in the placement of a div can take a frustratingly long time to work out why thats where and how to get it where you want to be. But the actual heavy lifting has always been on the back end code, and thats much harder to automate with AI because every website works the same but the back end of a program is a unique problem that requires you to understand the exact problem you are trying to solve.
I've worked on three different projects over the last 10 years as a developer, and in ever case what I was making was something that didn't yet exist, and was utilizing a unique codebase with critical methods and definitions that were not available outside of the building that I worked in. AI can't code in that environment, because there is no one for AI to copy the homework of. It would have to write something actually new, not just a technically unique combination of existing stackoverflow solutions.
