The entire purpose of the US being the world hegemon is to ensure shit like THIS doesn't happen. And yet here we are. Paper tiger status?
>>
>>530044731
you just had the demonstration that it was all fake and gay. pax americana is over
>>
>>530044731
>The entire purpose of the US being the world hegemon is to ensure shit like THIS doesn't happen
kek, the ones that are concerned are :
- China
- rest of Asia
- Europe
The USA profit from that. They can sell their oil at insane prices to Europe now. Gas prices sky-rocketing will finish European industry.
The USA are very, very happy nobody wants to send their ships through there anymore.
>>
>>530044731
i dont know man
seems like every time the us coughs, the whole world sharts a little
>>
>>530044731
It was dumb yeah, They should have had a plan from the get go to invade the strait islands and set up a defensive perimeter. But clearly they just said fuck it, maybe American oil companies lobbied him to increase oil prices
>>
>>530044731
Miggers are too retarded to run a country. Simple as.
>>
>>530044964
Jews in America will probably raise the oil prices there too, you know

Like the modern intentionally globomaxxed globalised globohomo world wouldn't be a single economic entity without any firewalls.
>>
>>530045084
Why not ? Just as much as they can without harming US industry and transport.
>>
>>530044964
>China
>rest of Asia
They don't care, they will buy a lot Russian oil at a discount and make Putin extremely rich. Only ones getting ripped off will be eurocucks. If this doesn't get solved the outcome for Ukraine will look bleak.
>>
>>530044731
America spent 4+ years watching Ukraine yet couldn’t come up with a plan to deal
With cheap drone swarms?

Are they stupid?
>>
>>530045192
>They don't care
They do, when 20, 30% of your supply disappears overnight it is difficult to get what you got there from another source. It takes time.
>>
>>530044964
>- China
ships going to China are passing through

>- rest of Asia
>- Europe
they chose their side, so fuck em

>The USA profit from that
oh is that orange nigger is in full meltdown mode? In case you didn't know - the energy market is global and prices go up everywhere. Nothing riles up muttistan voters like the bill at the pump. At this point he's looking at not just a loss, but a historic wipeout in midterms.

>they will buy a lot Russian oil at a discount
I guess you haven't heard - India is buying Urals at 5 dollars MORE than Brent.
Trump "allowed" India to buy Russian oil for 30 days - basically legalizing India's decision to avoid looking weak.

>ships going to China are passing through
No ships are passing through. Insurance companies said no.
>the energy market is global and prices go up everywhere
No, oil prices are very different, take WTI (Texas) and Brent (Norway) WTI is usually 5-10 $US cheaper
Same for gas
>>
>put cope cages on oil tankers
it's that easy
>>
>>530045280
Asia was already rapidly increasing its reliance on Russian oil and gas even before this happened
>>
>>530045665
underwater drones are a thing and Iran has already used at least 1
>>
>>530045575
Yes Europe is the most endangered by this. Maybe we have to go through a total collapse to clean that place.
Automotive industry is dead, that was the last big drive of the continent.
>>
>>530045727
>underwater drones are a thing
Not really. Radio waves don't go into water.
They used surface drone boat.

US does not profit from that, one of the pillars of the dollar reserve currency system is the petrodollar arrangement, if US cant protect the gulf states and their oil trade thats guaranteed to crumble

Lloyd's said no. China has its own insurers.

>WTI is usually 5-10 $US cheaper
Yes, and? The price index is still global. If one mark goes up, so will the others.

I was in Ontario once watching the news in a hotel room and the journalist referred to the US as the “beast to the south“. I was mortified.

yes, people will need to be hungry to really clean house, same here as there.

no it isn't. We exist to serve Israel.
>>
>>530045897
- Europe industry dies
- USA sells oil at very good prices
- A lot of other countries have to pivot from Middle east cheap oil to other sources
Yes they do profit from that. A lot. The petrodollar will be used by the USA themselves to sell oil and gas.

>>530046115
>If one mark goes up, so will the others.
USA can be a lot cheaper than the others and yet very profitable.

how long ago was it? We've had a massive propaganda campaign in MSM recently to Trump-wash the decade of lib govt corruption and mismanagement, and pin it on the trade war. Sadly, it is working.

God meant that there isn't a mountain and UAE's capital running through the panama canal. How fucking dumb are mutts really? Is it even measurable?
>>
>>530046188
Checked, the entire basis for US world hegemon status is that they are allowed to print money and shift inflation to other countries, this is what is called a world reserve currency. If the system collapses there is no more infinite money glitch anymore, one of the reasons US has such a giant military is this exact money glitch. The petrodollar arrangement is one of the primary pillars of this global financial arrangement
>Yes they do profit from that. A lot.
No they do not, its one of the potentially most catastrophic events possible if the straight of hormuz remains closed and US is unable to provide security to its gulf allies, there are very few other so straight forward weaknesses to the global financial order as straight of hormuz being closed long term
>>
>>530046188
>USA can be a lot cheaper than the others and yet very profitable
If it could be, it would've already been before the Iran war. That was the whole rhetoric about crashing oil prices and bankrupting Russia, remember? It failed miserably, even with Venezuela takeover.
>>
>>530046612
>No they do not
They absolutely do, just by making Europe weaker and totally dependent on northern american oil and gas.
>>
>>530046622
>it would've already been before the Iran war.
WTI is always a bit cheaper what are you even talking about
>>
>>530046440
This is in the 1990s. I was in someplace called Port Hope or something like that near Toronto.
>>
>>530044731
All countries become paper tigers when they need to be. The true world hegemon is nationless.
>>
>>530044964
yet it is the Iran who closes it, and the US is having a temper tantrum and tells the world they can keep it open by escorting the tankers and paying the insurance.
this is just a typical case of everything being super perfect if you frame it right
>>
>>530046682
No they dont, which part didn't you understand? The whole lynchpin of the US as a world hegemon is the dollar reserve currency system. Allow me to educate you

>Iran closes Strait of Hormuz
>US can't protect Gulf allies from getting hit
>1974 deal: dollars for oil, US provides security
>security guarantee just proved worthless
>why keep taking dollars?
>Saudi starts accepting yuan, rupees, euros for oil
>global oil trade no longer denominated in USD
>nobody needs dollars like they used to
>central banks diversify reserves away from USD
>Treasury auctions see weak demand
>who's buying US debt if petrodollar recycling stops?
>US borrowing costs spike
>deficit spending becomes impossible
>dollar index crashes
>imported goods cost more, inflation surges
>foreign investors sell treasuries
>$40 trillion debt becomes unsustainable
>US goes from reserve currency to just another indebted country
>>
>>530044731
This shit didn't happen under Biden or Obama.
