You live in small town, drop off kids at school (this wasn't normal before covid), drive off to capital to work, cine back, pick up kids, drive off to the supermarket and go back to sleep. The thing is you probably don't work in the town you live in so having to visit 5 little shops everyday is a waste of time plus parking is hell in town centers.Things were different when I was a kid. We only spent some 5-6 hours in school and just lived our lives, there were little shops, parents worked in our small town, but hours were long, my grandparents took care of me. Kids spend too much time in school today because there's nobody waiting for them at home.
