Vatican II made very little changes and was overall a standardization process. Things that did change were topics that had been on the table for hundreds of years but hadn't been put into practice because the world was still unconnected and/or constantly at war. Things like saying the mass in the language of the country in which its being held is not some horrific shock moment, our first bishop in America made the case for it in 1789 and he wasn't alone. People who guffaw over little things or changes have been trained to do so by e-celebs or their earlier equivalent (hype artists paid to create controversy by selling books or making podcasts). Vatican II changed nothing in the faith. Pope Francis opinions changed nothing in the faith. Don't let your formation be guided by "former protestant" e-celebs who sell you personal interpretations on the state of the Holy Church.
