I should have filled my tank on Sunday when it could still be done with $40. Now it's $50 and next week it will be closer to $60 with no end in sight.

>>530083110
Wasn't the goal of leftists to increase fuel prices by imposing carbon taxes? Why are you complaining when you have finally got what you wanted?

E10 (regular gas) contains a bit of ethanol and has a modest octane rating. All modern cars can handle that amount of ethanol without trouble. Can only support modest compression ratios. Most economical option for regular cars.

E15 (generally the medium option) contains 15% ethanol and has a slightly higher octane rating. Only some cars can use it without long-term damage, and most cars aren't built to take advantage of the slightly higher compression it allows No point for most people.

Premium gas (high octane rating, no ethanol) is more expensive to produce, but it can run in all (non-aviation) gasoline engines, including gas power tools, lawn mowers, generators, etc. which are often not built to handle ethanol. It allows high-performance engines to run at higher compression ratios, delivering better efficiency and power, and it's more energy-dense than the ethanol blends, meaning that a gallon of it goes a little farther (slightly offsetting the increased price per gallon).

I just got back from gassing up. We need this right away. My gas was up 55 cents since Sunday. The Biden stickers were everywhere. Now it's King Jew's time.
