Pretty terrible. Doctors can get away with murder, literally. My dad had a heart attack just before covid. My mom drove him to the hospital. The doctor said he had a heart attack and they were going to keep him a couple days at this smaller hospital until a spot opened up at the big regional one. My mom thought it sounded like no big deal so she went home. The doctor then came back in and conned my dad into signing a do not treat order in case he had another one while he was waiting. They wheeled him upstairs to a room and a nurse came in and gave my dad an overdose of morphine. My dad said that the second it him, he already couldn't talk. He tried to wave to the nurse to come back, but the guy just fucked off like as fast as he could. My dad by some miracle survived until the next day. They could have given him a narcan shot any time, but he signed the do not treat order. They never called my mom to tell her he was dying of a morphine overdose all night. My mom got back in about 9 the next morning. The second she got there, a nurse ran over and said. give me permission to treat your husband, I can still save him. My mom of course had no idea what had gone on all night, and she was like, of course you can treat him. The nurse gave him the shot, he didn't die and miraculously a spot in the cardiac care ward opened up immediately. Later at the other hospital, they told the cardiac doctor what happened. he had some intern kids go down and check my dad's medical records. When they came back the kids said, they gave you an overdose of morphine. Overdose of morphine. They tried to murder him. They don't need any MAID to do it. They've been doing this kind of shit for years.
