Trump in his first presidency stopped giving Japan, South Korea and Japan waivers to continue to buying Iranian energy.Sanctions against Iran and Venezuela in general before that drove up global oil prices, which made US and Canadian oil profitable which have high extraction costs. Meanwhile, China is the only major customer of Iranian oil left and they buy it at massive discounts. Basically, the US, Canada, China, Russia, KSA and the Jews have been profiting at the expense of everyone else who have higher costs.
Japan literally doesn't do shit for us, they're only good as a military base.
