Venezuelan oil is extra heavy and sour, literally garbage
>>
Can't be good for the environment. Should have started with nukes.
>>
Fill your gas tank
Buy several scepter multigallon gas tanks
You can even get a 14 gallon caddy for 150 bucks
Get as much gas now while you still can!
>>
>>530161241
Not if you have high tech refineries that can process it. It's basically the same as Canadian oil sands.

BRICS cope
>>
>>530161344
yes but that extra processing cost money
>>
>>530161461
which is why it sells for less than light sweet. this is how market economics works anon

Who is attacking Kuwait? Trump just said that Iran surrendered.
>>
>>530161682
Must be Israel, we know Iran wouldnt because Trump said they surrendered to their gulf neighbors.
>>
>it's over oil bros
It's just the beginning, my latinx friend. My PBR stocks increased 50% in value since january and now that the gulf is kaputt, I expect it to increase even more

Venezuelan oil is a solid. Its used for shipping freighters only. You cut it into chunks. Its also highly contaminated with sulfur.
>>
>>530161344
The value isn't in the oil, it's how that oil money is invested in the US economy. GCC invests heavily in AI, and guess what the US economy is propped up by? lmao
>>
>>530161461
Cost less than extracting oil from a region thats on fire for the next 5 decades.

Iran is attacking the PETRODOLLAR. For god sakes how can people not see this? If the GCC decouples from the dollar it's going to lead to a massive recession. HUGE. It's one of the tools we use to secure the dollar post gold standard

*Iran is defending itself by weakening its attacker's power base.
Most magas don't understand how the american empire works, and probably never will. The fact that you receive your percentage of every international trade transaction and can exclude anyone from international trade at any time is the absolute foundation of your empire. Therefore, taking action against china would be a form of suicide.
>>
>>530160944
with the vast transition to electric mobility i have a feeling that china will be least affected by a global oil crisis. it's mind boggling thats (((the west))) would shoot themselves in the foot that hard. this development was foreseeable by anyone. the bombing and the closing of the strait of hormuz was discussed here countless times and years before today.
>>
>>530164468
>i have a feeling that china will be least affected by a global oil crisis
China is the largest oil importer on earth by far.
>>
>>530160944
It's already up to $100 almost. We're talking $125 and then $150 and eventually $200+
>>
>>530164468
He thinks electricity is created in the wall socket. Lmao. The german government has clarified that electric heating systems and electric car charging stations are the first to be shut down in the event of an energy shortage. Everything is more efficient than electricity. I can't wait to see how energy shortages will revive pragmatism.

Crude of that quality primarily renders into ship fuel and other heavier extracts. You get very little gasoline from it.

Yeah Russia has a history of catching shit on fire just for the fun of it ask Napoleon
>>
>>530164571
they're also a billion people. the point is that they made more moves in the last decade to detach themselves from this dependence and they are the biggest energy producer today because they don't care about burning the coal.

Indeed and it will always be more expensive for that very fact.
>>
>>530164571
However, they have diversified extremely over the last 10 years. They now only receive 50% of their oil from the middle east, but more than ever from russia and brazil. And their investments in africa are also beginning to bear fruit.
>>
Don't even think about it mutts, the oil is not yours.
>>
>>530161297
Panic, Panic.

STFU You stupid fucking boomer.
>>
>>530161527
And logistics do not care about the market economics
You still would need to change all your plants and rebuild them to withstand the sulfur to use it Wich would take years
>>
>>530165243
The time for defending yourselves is over. You've shown that you'll lie on your back and close your eyes when the mutts want to fuck your. That's why, like all gangsters, they'll now demand more and more.
>>
>>530161297
Lmao. Do you drive your car once a year? You can't outrun this stupid hillbilly.
>>

I swear to Hashem this war is making me Jewish, all I see is opportunity.
>>
>>530165243
Actually. it is. It is actually our oil.
>>
>>530160944
No one except China was getting Iranian oil anyway, if the war continues the Saudi oil fields will become targets for Iran, when that happens the whole show is fucked, it will almost be a semi happening. They're in drone and missile range btw and the US radars are shot to bits.
>>
>>530165369
This reminds me of the tariff discussions I had on /pol/, in which I explained to them how expensive the restructuring of production and economic systems is, and that this would only be possible with a long period of suffering that no western political system could survive. But two days later trump changed his mind and they said he never actually wanted to go through with it anyway.
>>
>>530160944
Meanwhile Israel took out 5 major oil depots in Iran today ;) but you won't see that spammed on /pol/jeet
>>
>>530165726
It means high in sulphides, like farts. You don't want that in your oil. You want sweet and light.
As a side note, isn't it a damn shame that Arabs have oil beneath their feet? Why not Tibetans, or Zimbabweans? Those are just average people, nothing too interesting about them. Nope, for whatever reason the oil was located in a volatile part of the world.
>>
>>530166004
You think iran can sell large quantities of oil on the market right now, rabbi? (((Marc rich))) is dead. Kek. A restriction of their oil production is probably the least of their problems at the moment.
>>
>>530166211
You had and still have vast quantities of oil. You simply preferred to use other people's oil first. Only in europe is the oil situation dire, and europe was foolish enough to give up on the coal as well.
>>
>>530161116
First shipments literally went to Israel
