I was a prison guard for a little bit and I was baffled by the behavior of the guards. Apparently they didn't check on him for several hours. That is a huge PREA violation. Under federal mandate we have to check on inmates twice per hour, no more than 45 minutes apart (some agencies say every 30 minutes).
