>>530175816Did you know a train ride on the most ghetto busted train you've ever seen in your life costs $150+ in USA?
>>530175816How much is a medium pizza there? Is it $20 like here?
>>530177295We got a nationwide weekend multi ticket valid till 6am Monday for ~13.10 USD. It's adventure time!
>>530175816What were the members of the public like?
>>530181962People here are bretty cool. Mostly families and couples. Very chill and friendly.
>>530175816schengen area is awesome too*hops on my train rome and then eating best za and drinking wine all the way to paris*americans can only do war
>>530175816only thing better would be if you smoke on them. not have to deal with the stress of driving and crazy people. watch the nature go by
>>530182178Nah bro, fuck smokers. We have restaurant carts instead. Just eat over your stress.
>>530182178there should be carts for smokers...but you can always have a smoke when the train stops
>>530175816>drinking allowed only in poland
or hop on a night train and sleep while traveling
>>530182486Why? Smokers are adying breed of low-quality retards. I know as I used to smoke myself.>>530182557Yes you can!
>>530182625i used to be a smoker myself and i know its a nasty habit and stupid but even they deserve to enjoy a comfy train ride
I believe white Americans will treat USA like migrants do. This is a casino to get rich in. When you can afford to leave you do.
>>530175816Yea but then you’re stuck on a train full of drunk Niggers.
>>530182760You can smoke at train stops. Can't you really wait 15-30 minutes between stops?
>>530183044that's a hassletrains used to smoke and maybe someone wants to enjoy a fat cigar on his ride
>>530182497They literally serve beer on Norwegian trains
>>530183329let me guess €20 a 0.3l beer
>>530183402They sell polish and czech beer on my train. Time to get wasted. :)
>americans had beautiful trains now they make train themed bars...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyQ5_VKHwLM&rco=1
>>530183705had a brilliant schabowy schnitzel on a polish train
>>530182947Every single person on this train is white btw.
>>530177330Obviously dependa but would rather say 7-12 bucks
>>530183402Alcohol is generally very expensive in Norway for harm reduction reasons, but its like €12 for a 0.5l beer at bars and restaurants. Beer at the grocery store is cheaper, like €3.5 for a 0.5l beer.
>>530175816a medium pizza is like 250 miles of gas in my car...maybe live in a country with mountains? if it was even a good mountain in the first place, a train wouldn't even be able to get up.
>>53018393225 PLN for a medium pizza? In your shithole maybe. In major cities plain margharita is 50+ now.
the swiss company stadler built a hydrogen powered trainit made the guiness record for longest nonstop drivethe only place it's gonna be deployed in the usa is california who are more hydrogen oriented than other states
>>530183965Here in Europe we can build train tracks that can go into the mountains.
>>530184067>hydrogen powered trainThat's fucking retarted. Trains are powered from their own powerlines all the way. They alreasy run on electricity for fucks sake!
>>530184009>in major citiesFound your issue.
>>530184076The reality is you're coping. If you really liked trains, you would just ride them and be happy. You are envious of cars. I don't even think about trains.
>>530184126>that's fucking retardedWhy? Doesn't need cables. Let them cook anon.
>>530184126it shows the power and superiortiy of hydrogen compared to other fuels
>>530184213The cables are already there and making hydrogen uses more electricity than running the train directly. It's solar freaking roadways all over again!
>>530184258But nigga, you power thevtrain directly from the power line above the train.
>>530184290true but you can apply the technology to other fields (planes, ships, cars, houses)
>>530175816You are aware that public transport in most countries isn't homogeneous or simply put white-only and it's fucking nightmare?
>>530184354You have to use a lot of electricity to get hydrogen. It's retarded really if you think about hydrolysis fir a moment.
>>530184387Maybe they need train security like polish SOK?
>>530184188Truth is, we enjoy a hybrid of using private and public transportation. For example if I want to travel for tourism reasons - looking for parking spots in a city is a hassle, I'd rather travel via public transportation. You can also grab a beer and chill the fuck out instead of getting pissed off in traffic. On the other hand using public transportation to get to my workplace is more trouble than it's worth it and makes the commute longer so I just drive there.
>>530184266Maybe they will improve the tech.Things seem retarded until they aren't. So long as they don't force us to use them I say we let em cook.
>>530175816>>>/n/>>>/o/
>>530184709It's physics 101 damn it. To extract hydrogen from a bonded state you need to use energy. If you can't find a free source of hydrogen, it makes no sense.
>>530184498you generate electricity anyway and if you don't store it it goes to waste and hydrogen is the perfect carrier some math, with 2kw input power you can generate 1kg of hydrogen per day at homethat's 1 ton of hydrogen with a single wind turbine generating 2mw on averagethe merecedes f-cell uses 0.34kg for 100km
>>530184805Yo they used to say the same about sailing west to find India. In the end they didn't find what they were looking for but got something better instead. Give em time.
>>530176152Not true.Trains you can bring whatever luggage for free. You can arrive 10 minutes before a train. You stay on ground, no loss of connection. You have restaurants/cafes etc. on a train. Your seating has infinitely more comfortable and spacious chairs, with multiple power outlets on trains. On trains you also have a much smoother ride. When exiting you just pick up your luggage and move on, no chance of operator losing your luggage or delaying it. Lastly, as trains are cheaper, a lot of people would rather pay the penalty of travel time on very long distance trips than not travel at all due to airplane costs, allowing more mobility. So, in conclusion, if your trip with the airplane is less than 2 hrs and there's a high speed train option available, the train will always be worth it, more so if you want to save on luggage.
>>530175816>Cars can not compete with this level of freedom. That's the stupidest thing I've read on here today (that's saying a lot with all the Iran shills). A train can only go where there's rails. A car can go damned near anywhere. You want to be driven and drink, hop on a bus. Trains wish they could go where buses go.
>>530176152just because your terrain is thick fucking unstable jungle doesn't mean the rest of us can't have nice things.
>>530185045cars are limited to roads, too. unless you have an offroadertake a bike with you on your train ride and you can go anywhere
>>530186420and if you want real freedom get yourself a manned droneanother tech bottle-necked by not using hydrogen fuel cells
>>530175816Yea, you probably don't have gypsies. Over here our railway infrastructure was left to rot and the public didn't bat an eye because there were always gypsies in our trains. There was only one account in our history when people were actually happy to see gypsies loaded up in trains.
>>530184827Hydrogennis not "perfect" because it wants to gescape into the atmosphere and is highly explosive.
>>530187638you can bind it to magnesium and store it as a powder at ambient pressure and temperatureadd water if you want to release the hydrogenand of course it's explosive, it's a fuel
>>530188034pure magnesium is also explosive
>>530188586the magnesium hydride is turned into a paste-like material, like toothpasteit's safe to store and to handle and has a higher energy density than compressed or cryo cooled liquid hydrogen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnTp3PbXza8after release of the hydrogen the leftover magnesiumhydroxide sludge can be collected and recycled and made into new paste
