Trump's DOJ has been getting swatted down by DC grand juries on a range of charges. Candace Owens is based near DC, isn't she? You're not going to get a federal grand jury in DC or northern Virginia or southern Maryland to authorize those kinds of charges.I live near Seattle, so there's also no chance a federal grand jury here would indict on charges of 'being critical of the war.' But it's true that if you live in Oklahoma or something, you might want to watch out. However, remember that George W. Bush's administration never pursued these kinds of charges during the Iraq war, though plenty of people were openly calling for troops to quit or otherwise subvert the war. It's not clear if that was explicit legal strategy, or if they DID attempt to indict, but got slapped down by grand jurors.
