What really happened that day?
>>530323183>What really happened that day?Depends on the timeline you come from.
>>530323183Government killed a bunch of people
>>530323183The dogs almost pulled off a successful rebellion after years of being the Chinaman's dinner. One brave Chinaman saved the world that day by standing in front of their tank for a photo op.
>>530323183It was a student protest that was infiltrated by the CIA and became a violent revolt with the intention of overthrowing the democratically elected Chinese government.
>>530323183very stupid idea to try a protest against the ccp inside of chinavery very stupid
>>530323566u dumb retard the revolutionaries were literally following maos ideas and the conservitard government was obsessed with killing itself yet again
>>530323767nah, they were revolting against BBC>inb4 sourceshut the fuck up and read
>>530323767No dumbass, Mao was not in favor of democracy. Look up Operation Yellowbird, it was literally a failed color revolution
>>530323183He got run over, I member seeing it on a /b/ gore thread way before AI became mainstream
>>530323988No lol
>>530323183Communists mass killed people who didn't want communism and memory holed it then used state owned media to lie about it
>>530323183Bug men were squashed.
>>530323456Needs more Yakety Sax
>>530323767The protests literally started with people protesting about African students.
>>530323183>commies get niggers into chink colleges>niggers commit niggery>students protest against niggers presence>commies can't handle constructive criticism, order full slaughterAs for the emblematic pic, the guy didn't get crushed. The tank tried to avoid him and he kept getting in front until a passerby pulled him away. afaik he was never identified, which is probably better for him and his family.
>>530323183The actual video is hilarious>>530323456Yep, still is. Funny contrast here thoughbeit
>>530324737This is why whenever someone says that they like marx you just kill them. Kill the commie before he kills you
There were some small protests and police moved in to ensure security. SOME protesters were dispelled via the use of rubber bullets because the police feared the protesters could hurt themselves by bunching up too much and only very minor injuries were caused by use of these bullets. No one was killed during these protests.
>>530324824>very minor injuries were caused by use of these bullets.
>>530324663>>530324737>>530324819>>530324936>>530325176ai
>>530323183the day when nothing happened
>>530323183Failed coup attempt by Zhao Ziyang against Deng Xiaoping. You don't need to call in several armored divisions armed with Type 59 main battle tanks carrying 100mm anti-tank guns just to mow down protesters.
>>530323183A guy crossing the road had a misunderstanding with a few tank drivers. The evil Western media got hold of the CCTV footage and spun it into one of the worst civilian massacres in the late 20th century
People who hate China are probably pedophiles, I have this gut feeling.
>>530325920Sure thing Ching Chong Ping Pong
>>530325850>ogrishrip in peace
Chinese people were big mad at the CCP in general, how things were going politically and economically.Even more specifically it was catalyzed by the death of a (beloved) General Secretary, Hu Yaobang. Actually a much gentler, kinder politician who cared more for the people and tried to undo, reverse, minimize the impacts of or alter (as diplomatically as he could) more extremely repressive, authoritarian policies of the CCP, softening communism somewhat and trying to introduce some free-market reforms, and move from the excesses of Maoism, the cultural revolution and the whole purge-mentality. He was made to resign eventually & also put out a statement “apologizing” for all his “fuckups”, then died in 1989.The elite CCP leaders then had an official policy of NOT mourning Hu’s death, even specifically censoring/banning any government-sanctioned memorials for him, acts of mourning like wearing a black armband, etc.But many of the people loved him, so made their own unofficial memorials and gatherings eulogizing after his death, with university students playing a big part in it specifically. A march eventually gathered at Tiananmen Square, both from mourners/supporters of his & turning into a protest demanding government acknowledgment that the people loved him and his reforms. Also formed into protests that spread beyond just Tiananmen Square. The government ordered police to crack down on it and then the military was brought (with the infamous tanks) in that’s how it turned into a riot/massacre, with various civilians and student protestors beaten, shot and killed, people arrested, etc.Of course this was bad PR + they didn’t want the very idea of protests being possible becoming too widespread, so the Chinese government went the route of authoritarian violent repression of it, then even censoring the true nature of the incident from news and the education system and the like.
>>530326500Of course, you could’ve had the CIA and Western pro-liberal anti-communist NGOs funding and supporting these protests, some NGO funding went to them I believe in fact, but it wasn’t like it was entirely inorganic, this dissatisfaction was already there amongst the people, and it turned into a protest demanding poltical and economic reforms too, in the nature of Hu Yaobang’s attempted reform and wanting more free speech, various liberalizing reforms etcCorrect me if I’m wrong, this is just from my readings online, I’m no China-expert.
>>530323183Protesting students were slaugthered by the Chinese Communist Party's army.
>>530324060True.
>>530324824>>530325176>Students understood they were given one hour to leave square but after five minutes APCs attacked.>Students linked arms but were mown down including soldiers. APCs then ran over bodies time and time again to make 'pie' and remains collected by bulldozer.>Remains incinerated and then hosed down drains.>Four wounded girl students begged for their lives but were bayoneted.
>>530323183That's the day I got my 1st car. A 1968 Volkswagen 412. I also lost my virginity in that car.
>>530323183Reminder this picture is a heavily cropped frame from a video of the tank column that has ALREADY LEFT the square THE DAY AFTER nothing happened. Also reminder that the protests were chinkcels having a collective melty over chinese women dating african exchange students.
>>530323183Sometimes things are exactly as they appear. >Democracy demonstrators got rather organized>Evil CCP tell top general to wipe the floor with them>He literally refuses -- very unusual (recently released several hour video)>Evil CCP tricks soldiers (confirmed by one involved) via double blind false flag (shots fired on soldiers)>CCP soldiers go full retard and quell the demonstration by tanks and guns killing manyThe obvious evidence is that they would show the video if it was all peaceful pack up and go home. Instead they jail you if you even mention it (tianenmen 1989).
>>530324060>people who didn't want communismLeaving out the part where they were armed, killed and mutilated police officers, burned down buses?
>>530325850Wonder why the other anon dumping his gore folder didn't include this one...
>>530323183Nothing happened on that square.International journalists witnessed it.The west lost a color revolution and are still butthurt to this day.
