I work for a Dutch company with an office in the US and no one aside from our CEO ever comes out here, we always have to travel to them. They always get super weird about traveling to the US, like they're afraid or anxious about it. What's the deal? Are other countries afraid of coming here? What are they afraid of?

>>530334734to add, there are ways to avoid all that trouble. make sure they've got the right insurance coverage beforehand, paperwork all sorted out etc. corporations are not going to bother with all that just to send a grunt worker over there and its usually all on the grunt to sort out, not the employer. it's a hassle to send someone to usa basically so they have to be worth it whereas it must not be to send someone to europe.
