Can someone explain to me how not letting companies like Blackrock buy up all the real estate is a bad thing like this article seems to imply?
jew "news" rag meant to promote jewish economic interests at the expense of the goyim
>>530337814Because humans can't afford housing, and (((Blackrock))) is buying houses with debt money from the (((Bankers))) to exploit people who will never be able to buy a house now.
>>530337814What these articles always drill down to to try and make you feel like this is unjust is "muh poor homeowners losing money on their investment". Which is like, that's what a fucking investment is, it's a gamble
>>530337814Man there’s nothing these niggers won’t eat
>>530337814It's was a meaningless article, when it was written. The chink economy is absolutely fucked and their property market is the eye of the hurricane. Most of those homes are probably empty and falling apart, by now.

>oh no its not owned by jewish landlords but the Chinese government who will actually allocate them to people>dis is annodah shoah!!
>>530337814>ignore what's going on in your own country because of something something in chynaYawn
>>530339495this. it's also an interesting thing to see people's reactions to the fluctuation of value on paper. one year, a property may be valued at X. then, the next year, X(1.1) in which case the homeowner is elated. then, the following year, it may be X(0.9) in which case they'll be livid at this loss of perceived value.
>>530339495property was previously the only 'trustworthy" investment option. to crash the housing market after encouraging such a system is like overnight the government said your 401k is now 20 year government bonds
>>530341483In China when you buy a house it isn't built and probably will never be built so you're just giving the government money to stay alive. So this is the CCP begging people for money
>>53033781495% home ownership is bad for the economy actually.
>>530341732Counting renting as "ownership" nice try chang.
>>530341483>trustworthy>investmentPick one and only one. It's almost like justifying the endless inflation of the currency by le making everyone an investor was always a grift
>>530341483but you still have a house. If house prices are high when you sell your house you still need a place to live, and guess what, they're all just as expensive!
>>530344448possibly.some houses were sold before they were built.some houses were built but were uninhabitable.
Not to normal people who just want a house to live in. But it does hurt house flippers, landlords and other parasites that should be almost nonexistent in a sane society.
>>530337814That's antisemitic
>>530337814
>>530337814epstin told blackrock that nomal people ownings houses was a bad thing
>>530337814You're thinking of Blackstone. Blackrock doesn't buy houses. Blackstone invests in rental real estate to earn a conservative yield for their clients who have wealth they want to preserve. They don't always pay off, and they ended up selling a lot of the houses they bought in 2022-2023 at a loss. They have been investing in rental real estate for decades, so this is nothing new for them. They aren't big enough to influence real estate prices one way or the other. Nobody is. Real estate is a $100 trillion asset class.
>>530342861stupid
>>530337814If you can't afford to buy a house it's not the fault of some organization like Blackstone or the fault of anyone else in particular. It's because land is scarce and property ownership is just very expensive by default. That's why houses are completely unaffordable in most places around the world and why fuedalism or something similar has been the norm for most of history.
>>530345725fuck off kike
>>530337814>For single-family homes, institutional investors with over 100 homes own about 3.8% of the national stock, though this concentration is much higher in specific metro areas.Private equity buying all the houses is some shit people keep repeating because they read internet comments
>>530339495You also don't lose anything if you just live in your house and don't sell itIn fact, you don't lose anything if you do sell it, because the house you would replace it with likely got proportionally cheaper>>530341483Housing is not an investment
>>530340506What the article doesn't tell you is that the chink property market is in such a jam, because for years the government offered subsidies for construction companies to build housing.Companies quickly jumped on this to build tofu dreg shit that has stood empty since day one.The companies got their money, but now the country is left with an overabundance of shitty real estate that is threatening to collapse the entire property market, probably taking the whole chink economy down with it, like we saw in the US in 2008.
>>530340629The Chinese government will not allocate them to people because most of these houses are unfinished because ever grande et al went under.
>>530337814>companies like Blackrock buy up all the real estateprivate companies are actually not buying up that much, IIRC they have less than... 5% of housing? Slightly more concentrated in areas they see as high-growth.I know China had a crazy real estate bubble but haven't really been following it, so I won't comment on the wisdom of whatever remedy the CCP is attempting here.
