There would seem to be something beneath the surface here. IEDs =/= WMDs.Could Trump be using his friendship with Mamdani in order to twist the "attack" into a pretext for taking certain actions domestically? Could it be something as simple as re-allocating federal resources? Could it be used to force Congress to reauthorize INS funding on an emergency basis?
