I'm trying to think/work through the economics of running the straight. Even if there's only a 3% or something chance of being hit and losing the ship/cargo/crew, it seems like either this blockade would have to go on a long time (so that ship owners get tired on losing money not making it) or the oil price would have to go truly to the moon for it to pencil out as rational to do. It's always just better to wait this oup and not risk your ship.
