The reason why we all knew progressive leftists seemed so stupid, is because they are not conscious. What I mean by that, is that their entire world is built on a web of constructs. The purpose of human language is to communicate sensory perceptions. That’s what it all boils down to. For example, the idea of what is just and unjust is based on a reaction to perceived stimuli. Murder = bad stimuli for many, so unjust. But when you detach the words or concepts from the felt experience, they become utterly meaningless. The progressive left is detached from reality, because their words are detached from the experiences that underlie them. The “elites” are doing the EXACT same thing to the right, hence the term “woke right”. In 2016, everyone on the right was conscious. We all saw how the left was behaving, and we all consciously understood that they had gone fucking insane. Fast forward a decade, look at how the right behaves. They will drag themselves across broken glass to defend bombing children and child rape. And then when you address it, their response consists of some preprogrammed dialogue. And just like the right, and their beliefs, are now based on concepts completely detached from the experience, or reality. Talking about freedom and peace while subjugating and slaughtering thousands for Israel. Most people these days haven’t experienced freedom for decades, so of course they think being tormented is that. That’s what doublethink is.
