Looks like Chinese vessels are going through the strait now.Reporting original Chinese destination ports before & after crossing and "CHINESE SHIP AND CREW" during the cross, so it sounds like there was some coordination.
america supapowa, who's the paper tiger now
Beyond getting the US and Israel to stop bombings (for now) how could Iran use strait-closing leverage? There's nothing they could demand that anyone could give that would protect them if the US and Israel started bombing in a week or a month (which they likely will if they see any rebuilding of air defences). But at the same time this situation is obviously untenable for them. What is Iran's end-game here beyond regime survival?
>>530391066>What is Iran's end-game here beyond regime survival?Um that is their end game. They just want to exist as a sovereign nation and kikes want to kill all of them.
>>530391066If they get nukes, people will stop fucking with them. See: North Korea
>>530391207>>530391174So how can they use the oil price as leverage? Or is there no way to?
>>530391317I don't think they can. Oil prices going up is good for domestic production companies and trump doesn't give a shit about international relationships. Ultimately this is going to really test the EUs dedication to NATO. Maybe Iran will get NATO to disband by keeping the strait closed. EU is pissed about the situation. We basically gave up global hegemony to bomb Iran for Israel.
oil is a liquid commodity. China getting oil through Hormouz means they buy less from other sources, which lowers the price. makes zero difference
>>530391317It's simple anon collapse the global economy. The US only had power because the global economy supports them.
>>530391532So I don't think they can leverage oil to make the US stop. But they can use it to add tension to the US global partnerships
>>530390844I hope China is mogging the other ships as they pass by
>>530391317They cause problems for literally every other country except America. Although, even amerimutts complain about gas prices, because they spent their disposable income on Funko pops and meth.
>>530391174>Total Muslim Death>Total Kike DeathWhy are you simping for brown animals?
>>530391066The US burned through almost $6 billion in military spending in the first week alone. Do you really think Iran's costs are even a tenth of that? Plus, you're probably way too optimistic about the US and Israel's MIC production capacity. The real issue right now is that Israel and Trump don't share the same strategic goals. Trump just wants to decapitate Khamenei and call it a day to end the war. Israel wants to completely destroy Iran. How long is that going to take? Can they even wrap it up before the midterms?
>>530391656They're waving at the Iranians while passing through. This boat has been anchored in the same spot for at least 4 days
>>530392082>The US burned through almost $6 billion in military spending in the first week alone. Do you really think Iran's costs are even a tenth of that?Depends:Theoretically all those planes etc. that got blown up still had economic value on them.Tactically: no.
Inb4 kikes bomb the chink ship and blame Iran
Meanwhile Iran-flagged ship ARZIN came in to Bandar Abbas from Malaysia today.
>>530392472Yeah,It officially entered the war of attrition phase. The only bipartisan consensus in D.C. right now is "no boots on the ground." But trying to sustain this with just airstrikes and carrier groups is going to bleed American current MIC dry. Trump literally just bragged about having "infinite ammo", only to get tapped on the shoulder by the Zionists and forced into a reality-check meeting with the defense contractors.Honestly, Khamenei was basically the moderate/compromise faction here. The US just went in and glassed the moderates and the internal moles all at once. Who do you think is left in charge now? Literally nothing but the absolute hardliners.
>>530392388This color scheme is absolutely retarded.
>>530391596It stops for sure next year when anti-war vote sweeps Congress.
>>530393665It's been said for years that this was the regime's domestic strategy. That even if they lost they would win.
>>530394494Honestly, it's hard to even call it a military "loss" for them. Iran can just revert to asymmetric guerrilla warfare. All they have to do is hide mobile launchers in the Zagros mountains and desert caves, occasionally popping out to launch a couple of cheap drones and anti-ship missiles. That alone is enough to keep the Strait of Hormuz completely locked down. When you look at the ROI (Return on Investment) of that kind of tactic, it's really debatable who the actual loser is in this war of attrition. Though to be fair, if Iran is reduced to playing hide-and-seek in the mountains like the Taliban, it means their domestic infrastructure has probably already been bombed back to the Stone Age.
>>530391066>Beyond getting the US and Israel to stop bombings (for now) how could Iran use strait-closing leverage? The longer the straight is closed the stronger Irans leverage become up until about 3 years or so when production chains have started to work aournd the downstream shortages and lots of the local gulf population have become rapefugees abroad so no more despeate need for food imports.
