The US government is spinning tales about fake warships and convoys going through the strait.We live in a world where the US is less trustworthy than Iran about its actions in war.I'm not sure Trump is actually bluffing here though. If he takes out Iran's oil infrastructure, and Iran takes out the Arab's oil infrastructure, and oil goes to $200, Trump will just put price controls in place and maybe expand his Venezuela piracy operations to Nigeria and Guyana or whatever places he decides he'll take a cut for allowing tankers to flow (just not the Strait of Hormuz he actually can't do anything about that)
