The fact is that if you want jus soli, you need documentation of the point in time that you were born. If that's missing then the parents did their child a disservice by not pursuing the right mechanisms to guarantee their citizenship in jus soli.Of course it's unrealistic to expect this to be resolved in mere months, but it's a problem that NEEDs to be confronted.
