What was /pol/ like the night Trump won his first term?
>>
>>530409797
I remember the day after, laughing about it with my boss. He then said "Well maybe he'll get in there and fix some stuff" and it was then that I realized Americans are fully retarded and we're all doomed
>>
>if i knew then what i know now
>>
>>530409901
Yeah people forget voting Trump in was originally a fuck you to the establishment and Rothschild pawns like the Clinton's A LOT of people literally voted for him because it was funny
>>
>>530409797
It was pure magic. Basically by then everyone knew Hillary and her clan were baby eating pedophiles, and it felt like good overcame evil. Leftists where just as hysterical then as they are now. It was glorious
>>
>>530409797
She’s ai btw
>>
It was a big celebration, I remember being up until 4am my time seeing the results.

Yeah that is why I hoped he would win. The entire establishment hated him. Things changed somewhat, bzt if they would have a chance to get rid of him, they still would have (until iran war, probably).

Those are some nice legs right there. I would put my head between them and tell her to squeeze as hard as possible and to not stop under any circumstances.

What’s her name then migatard? She’s a supposedly a public servant should be easy to find.

And she's doing it all in heels

I remember it very clearly. It was a good day for me and a bad day for everyone I knew, but I didn't care at the time. I had no idea that an "outsider" could get kiked so fast and so entirely he becomes a poster child for retarded braindead goy cattle npc animal. Truly, my joy now has turned to regret.

I just remember I made meme videos of Bernie dropping out for Hillary. Shit was so retarded even he himself didn't believe in her.

That was during my nocturnal phase but I remember waking up in the middle of the night and listening to Never Come Down (10 HOUR VERSION) and then watching compilations of leftists crying and melting down all day.

I told them if they elected the mememan i'd be laughing for 4 years straight and I wasnt wrong. his first presidency was a nothingburger filled with retarded tweets.

It isn’t just /pol/ but everywhere that wasn’t a mainstream liberal outlet felt like they just completed the Buchana-Ron Paul saga of voting a paleocon

Unfortunately, this is not what Trump ended up being. But it was really fun back then

i was upset trump did not shut down everything during covid. A lot of hassle could have been saved if we just disabled all travel for like a week the moment we smelled a virus. I think we should do this periodically anyway.

I also did not like some of the things in the big beautiful bill. cutting medicaid and snap is not good given that a third of the country is on the gig economy or cycling through part time jobs.

Im upset he didnt make building the wall into a grand public works project and hire and train any citizen who wanted to sign up so after the wall was built we could go on and have a massive workforce able to repair all our failing infrastructure. You really need big government projects for this, its how we got it in the first place.

Other than these things im fairly happy with trump. Would vote for him again.
>>
>>530409797
old /pol/ probably had more actual posters and less bots
>>
>>530409797
Barely remember at this point.
Dont know if i was even here at the time.
For sure i wasnt on the second Trump win i went to sleep.

At the office with everyone happy for Hillary but it soured into utter disbelief and I was barely containing my smugness. It always annoyed me how invested normies are over here, militant reeing at Trump

It was pure magic. Like for once we believed that the existential problems we faced in the west might be fixed. We were going to turn it all around. You had to be there to understand, and it will likely never happen again. That's what makes Trump's betrayal so fucking bitter.
>>
>>530413273
>we thought Donald Trump would be a good President of the United States
You're a fucking dunce
>>
>>530409797
Pretty funny, there was that jewish actor faggot with a weird made up name faggot making dumb protest art and everyone was trolling it.

It's gotten boring now, Trump needed repulsive sacks of human waste like Obongo and Clinton to seem vaguely palatable. Now he's just another israel first loser.

It was insane. Every thread was insane. Everyone at my school the following day was crazy happy except for the handful of liberals.
Liberals were dying, they literally believed Hitler had returned.
They couldn’t believe the country, democracy had defeated liberalism.
The media was entirely demoralized and I mean demoralized. Celebrities went silent. Talk shows became solemn and incredulous. It was like all of them had lost a family member simultaneously.
They lost and they knew it.
It actually broke them. Many still haven’t recovered.
Trump sucks now. But that first win was maybe the high point of American politics since Lincoln ended the civil war.
