What would western nations look like if we had full reserve, no holds barred, absolute direct democracy, whereby all efficient ends of political processes were executed by every individual constituent? e.g. each civilian had the right to write laws, declare war, levy taxes, print money, perform arrests / trial / incarceration, and generally arbitrate all the functions of government on their own in a direct, legal, and non-trivial way? what are some winning and / or failed examples of direct, full reserve democracy?
