They paid you to take oil, yet none of you got any. None of you thanked Trump for historic low gas prices back then.

THAT MEANS NONE OF YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO BITCH ABOUT RISING OIL PRICES. Ungrateful twats.

If oil was free, why didn't he fill up the reserves?

the reserves were depleted in 2022.
Though there was room for oil and they didn't fully top it up in 2020. That is still odd

When this happened they shipped me 26 barrels of oil. I lived in a residential neighborhood at the time and could barely store it. EPA showed up and fucking fined me

Can somebody explain OPs pic to an economic illiterate retard like me?
It made no sense to me back in 2020 when i heard the price of oil was negative and it doesn't make sense now.

Oil price goes up, your gas price goes up. Oil goes negative, your gas price still stays where it is. I never heard of one instance in history where someone went to the gas station, filled up the tank and the cashier gave him money for that. Never. No fucking fuel company paid any John Smith to buy their gas ever to my knowledge. It didn't happen in 2020. How the fuck does this shit work?

It cost more to sell than to dump it off the side of a boat.

Yeah, but my point is how come you don't see a negative price change reflected in the price of the gas at the station. Again, I have never heard of any station paying any average joe customer anything for the gas he pumped back in 2020.
