If not, what would make it better?{Countries around the world have different methods. Some focus on punitive, high-security systems focused on incapacitation; while others are more focused on rehabilitation and focus on re-entry/social reintegration, etc}
>>530415963We dont do incinerations anymore, sadly. I am a fan. Would bring back.
>>530416074I’ve only ever needed to resort to that once, pic rel
>>530415963Prison is totally pointlessYou can punish all crimes effectively, quickly and cheaply with >flogging>surgical castration>executionin this order of severity. This is what should be done to all criminals.
>>530416273That is more hardcore than Judge Dredd lolIn the Dredd-verse they use iso cubes, which are shitty micro dorms with zero privacy and the inmates are given the same harsh treatment, but different amounts of time depending on the crime.Apparently they have no privacy in-lore because when this was first implemented everyone kept an-heroing
>>530416162I forgot about a bag of onions in the kitchen, their sprouts around about 2 feet tall now.
>>530415963Not having it would be better. The most violent and craziest people should be out there all day free to cull the worthless normies and idiots.
>>530415963I think that the German system is alright, but more incarcerations as a deterrent would be neat.I do not see the point in letting people who commit multiple different crimes just get away with it as long as they commit something different next time.In those cases, I would like to see mandatory incarceration periods, starting from one day, maybe one week, so the criminals feel what it is like to be incarcerated.
