The study didn't account for socioeconomic differences which is a pretty big confounding variable to miss out on.

How are ethnics more competitive than whites? In my experience, brown/black kids always seemed more content to just "exist" and didn't care too much about studying or chasing a high status career, whereas whites and Asians tended to be ruthless social climbers and eugenicists.
