I love our national anthem.
Other national anthems are just purpose-written songs written about gay, generic patriotism. Ours was written during and about a genuinely iconic moment in our history, and really is definitive of our character as a people.
What other country even has a good anthem, let alone a great one?

I don't hate it, it's just not what I go out of my way to listen to. Now put on some New York Dolls, or maybe Motley Crue, now we're fuckin' talkin' dude. I'll jame to that shit no problem. I hear fast chords and downstrokes, I wanna get up and move, and I wanna crack open a beer. Just not huge on the whole big band, Yankee Doodley shit or whatever, I'll go to a baseball game if I want to hear that.
