whats so important about it anyways?
>>
>>530440053
So you can ship oil instead of losing it onto airplanes
>>

Stupid nigger
>>
Iran is right there. Their missiles can reach Israel. Think anon, think.
>>
>>530440134
just buy canada oil, dumb fucks.
>>
Canals don't maintain themselves and they take time and insane amounts of effort. The two most important ones in the world were definitely products of their time, that used a lot of low paid labour and likely would struggle to be built in this day and age.

You have to pay such capital to build it, and maintain it, then no one will use it unless iran is chimping out. So no one would pay the massive fees to use it when Iran isn't chimping out, then it would fall into disrepair.
>>
they lost the tech to build canals. just like how we can't go to the moon anymore. they only have tech to make mediaslop movies and shows. they can make a very action-packed scene and the movie will cost $200M+, while we still rely on oil refineries built in the 1970s.

great reset: no moar cars, high cost of living = fewer babies
>>
>>530439990
Nigga if they even built a canal like this it's still within Iran's sphere of influence
>>
>>530440330
>>530440317
from what i've seen, Iran only chimps out when they are provoked. same goes for russia. just leave these fuckers alone.
>>
>>530439990
Too expensive, and the gulf states aren't the ones suffering as much as the people who now can't get their oil.
They'll be fine to wait it out, especially as they can make bank when they can finally ship again.
>>

here in LA, if you see an insane hobo, the last thing you want to do is get near him or poke him with a stick. you don't even wanna talk to him, because he will immediately ask you for money. they will do this even if you don't make eye contact and walk quickly to where you are going. now replace "insane hobo" with iran or russia. these cunts are obviously 2nd and 3rd world, depending on how charitable you want to be with your definitions and which cities you want to look at. why bother them? why provoke them? we could be wealth-maxxing, but instead we're doing dumbshit again. we could be carefully drilling for oil in parts of alaska but instead we're pulled into another war for israel. it's all retarded and illogical. it's clownworld. trump is comped, 100%.
>>
>>530440395
Jews can't be content. They lack the ability of being grateful for what they have. They need to make everyone look less than their schizophrenic selves. It's insane if you think about why Israel was created and everything they did since the brits gave them a land to call their own.

Yeah, why not build a narrow strip than can be blocked by a single well-positioned missile strike? That will show the Iranians (where to aim).
>>
>>530439990
Why don't they bomb Iran?
>>
>>530440534
so far it seems that they and the evangelicals really do want to bring about an armageddon event (which they control). they already control 80%-90% of the world's wealth, yet seethe about the remaining amount they don't control. they probably have some palantir-powered plan to deal with their failed censorship.

this lull period, where we still get to criticize the jews, is going to be followed by some sort of mass tracking period where everything we said gets traced back to us (unless you're smart enough to use linux and vpns or whatnot).

>>530439990
because building mile-high skyscrapers and indoor skiing slopes was more important than ensuring that they could export their oil during a region-wide conflict.

Also, the easier thing to do would be to build a pipe across the desert to the Red Sea.
>>
>>530440610
greater israel project, with pipelines that bypass these straits and canals, all charging fees of course. there was a bond movie about this.

Unironically if brits/french didn't fuck with the ottomans and let them finish the hijaz rail we'd have had a line like that over all of the middle east. But then again Israel wouldn't have existed...

Dude like why don't they just build a tunnel right to China to ship their oil.

>have world's best intel agencies (NSA, CIA)
>known for best universities, mathematicians, etc.
>invented Ai
>still can't produce accurate estimate of enemy's number of bombs
wow. look, if you quiet all this news and noise, and listen to the faint voice of your future self, you may hear it say "buy food! prep now! these people are insane idiots!)
>>
>>530439990
They probably will now. Iran has shown they can't be trusted since their first move in any conflict will be to hold the world's oil supply hostage. It will suddenly make the cost of building a canal worth it to avoid another strait closure.
>>
>>530440395
If the US was blockading a strait I'd call it chimping out also. Not everything is an attack on whatever side you've decided to align yourself with faggot. Fuck all muslims, fuck all kikes, nuke the middle east.
>>
>>530440395
That's still not enough. Now we know that if iran gets attacked they will lash out and attack countries that did nothing to them. Iran can no longer be trusted, so a canal makes economic sense.
>>
>>530441042
>they will lash out and attack countries that did nothing to them.
How is letting the US use your country as a base to attack Iran "doing nothing to them"?

It would unironically probably be cheaper to nuke all of Iran or start a boots on the ground war than build a canal.
And before that mutt chirps again, no im not advocating either of these things, im stating a fact.
>>
>>530440395
Neither ever "chimp out".
>>

Now replace insane hobo with Israel

Wut? russia is an arrogant shithole.

It's crooked. Interesting perspective tho

>the easier thing to do would be to build a pipe across the desert to the Red Sea
They did and Iran bombed it lol
>>
>>530441105
I'm talking about the ships that belong to the non-gulf state countries, and depriving those countries of oil that they need to keep their economies running. They didn't do anything to iran.
>>
>>530439990
why since you have a strait???
You think missile can not hit there or no water drone to sail there?
>>
>>530441219
I wonder how far they'd have to push it before the rest of the world asks the US to bomb iran to ashes? All these tards on here think the rest of the world is going to demand israel be destroyed to appease iran or whatever crazy demands iran makes, when this move shows iran cannot be trusted with the strait ever again.
>>
>>530439990
Your mom so wet last night her fluids can fill the canal
>>
>>530442166
No.matter what you do GAE wants to destroy you.
So at least do some harm before you go.
>>
>>530441997
>oil that's going into the US/Western supporting countries that are attacking us are doing nothing to us
Iran is letting Chinese and Russian through. They also said they'd allow any gulf country that kicks out the US/Israeli ambassadors to pass through. If you don't want to be fucked with don't fuck with others. You not being able to keep Israel on a leash isn't the fault of Iran.
>>
>>530439990
An excellent question. Oman and UAE would have to work together, but I don't think they are enemies. Or build it all in UAE just south of Oman, not much wider.
>>
>>530440395
then how do i get their stuff?
>>
>>530440317
They didn't have Caterpillar machinery when Suez and Panama were built. Now it's a lot of work but mostly automated.
>>
>>530442439
If this is actually happening it won't be for long. If they take out US ships, why can't Oman take out the Chinese and Russian ships? We're being way too nice on the Strait of Hormuz, which they desperately need and we don't need nearly as much.
>>
>>530440290
lmao your oil is land stranded u.s. will just keep buying it 15-20 dollars off, Trump just waived russian sanctions taking away your asian market for the little bit of crude you did manage to pipe to the westcoast, youre so fucked storage tanks are rapidly filling in alberta
>>
>>530441634
you faggots chimped out and now they're putting you down like the dogs you are
>>
>>530439990
They really should
>>
>>530442728
>why can't Oman take out the Chinese and Russian ships?
Why would Oman wage war against China and Russia? Are you insane? You wage war against Iran and then complain you're being hurt. You're the piece of shit in this situation and any pain this causes you or your friends is well deserved. If Oman wants to suffer what Iran is enduring right now, it'd be their choice but I doubt anyone's as dumb as the US starting retarded wars like that.
>>
>>530442910
what is this flag new scandi country?
>>
>>530442933
Oman is on our side, which I realize is not Spain's side. Iran has already bombed them in this war.
>>
>>530442933
By the way, war is about being a piece of shit to the enemy. Why should we not use the strategic facts about the Strait of Hormuz, especially that it is 90% of China's oil supply, so Iran's threat to close the strait is kinda weird actually. We should take full strategic advantage, or get concessions from China.
>>
>>530442640
They also didn't have workers unions, environmental studies, bullshit planning approval or any of the other layers of bureaucracy and parasites taking a cut along the way. Maybe you could manage it the gulf states, maybe, but imagine the corrupt people taking a cut in egypt or panama today. Imagine the blow-outs a project like that would have. I honestly don't see it happening. Especially if you tried to do something like that in a first world country with modern sensibilities about workers rights. Even much simpler infrastructure projects cost way more than they should, go well beyond budget and blow out in costs.
>>
>>530444380
Fuck i tripled up at the end there. I meant blow out on costs and go past schedule.
>>
>>530439990
