Even if the Holocaust figures are questionable and were most likely a political settlement made between the Anglo entente and the USSR to punish Germany postbellum once hostilities ended, have you ever noticed that Jewish themselves seem to really believe in it?I live in Cambodian and see Israeli tourist from time to times (thankfully not too many). Once in a while when you talk to them about Palestine, they start talking about the 6.6 million dead and show you pictures on their phone from Birkenau and Auschwitz. They tell me Israel is a guarantee against a future Holocaust and that even as others say the Holocaust isn't real and "deny" it, they surreptitiously maintain belief by references to Hitler "finishing" the job.So I don't believe in the Holocaust figures but I do wonder why they themselves (Israelis, not American or Australian Jews who I haven't talked to very much) seem so deeply in belief of it? It could be a generational thing since all of them were Younger Jews but some even have done things like tattoo some the serial number Hitler gave every Jew or whatever it is

They will also lash out at whoever questions said beliefs. For them this story is not only advantageous in politics; one could argue their survival depends on it.
