Thought US already finances anti missile defense so why are they so stingy about it?
>>

for every bump of this thread an Iranian missile will nail a tiny hat

Iran launched dozens of waves of missiles and drones. Israel now doesn't have enough interdiction missiles to handle the a typical waves. They need to be cautious because the US just don't have the stocks for it. We're removing a similar emplacement in South Korea in hopes of sending it to Israel to bolster their defenses, but uh ... it doesn’t look promising.

Combine that with Iran's successful targeting of radar stations in the region. Now, not only are there insufficient missiles, but the radar also can't accurately determine how many of each type are approaching in any given wave. Oh, and the warning for a barrage has been reduced to 2 minutes from 15. Fun times to be an Israeli!

the osint accounts and journalists reporting from Israel keep mentioning a lot of injuries from people rushing to get into shelters, not what you usually see. a much shorter notification time would seem to be in line with that. the interception rate of the single warhead missiles seems to be continuing but the cluster bombs are causing havoc, though little serious damage in most cases. the bomblets are just too small. the haifa refinery hit seems to have been a different cluster variant with a smaller number of larger bomblets.

>the interception rate of the single warhead missiles seems to be continuing
It's what Israeli air defense system was designed for (pissant "bottle rocket" stuff from Lebanon, etc), and as you say, the "typical" bomblet cluster might not be worth the hassle before or after detachment. Iran throwing as many identical-seeming variants at the problem would pose quite a problem, especially if Israel's running on low stocks.

* hit enter too soon: I've heard 2 minutes in good conditions and often NO WARNING AT ALL, which is why Israeli citizens are starting to get spooked. It's one thing to stay close to your home shelter, it's another to just get merc'ed. Especially after your government sold you on this fake gay luxury air defense shield. Not surprising so many are making a break for Cyprus.

They are forced to conserve so interceptors can protect war economy sites instead. America is just not doing enough to supply Israel.
>>
>>531173283
They're intercepting individual bomblets from a cluster warhead?? I know kikes are nigger adjacent but holy shit that is a different level of retardation.
>>
>>531173283
Once again, top tier equipment proves useless against mass produced "good enough" equipment. Its better to send 800 drones from which 500 get intercepted than to send 300 drones from which only 50 get intercepted.
>>

So kikes are finally living in fear and getting their own treatment, godspeed Iran. Keep glassing those rats

I'm going to brush your teeth with my dick. They started this war, they escalated it by bombing the oil fields, they're running dry on munitions we can't possibly replace in small time, we're pulling out emplacements for other allies specifically to suit them. These cunts can wait.

It actually makes sense in concept. Clusters don't really do much damage relative to regular missiles.
If you could actually have the bomblets reassemble after passing through the AA screen, you'd be able to do more damage on pinpoint targets.

Now I'm not sure if it's actually possible in practice, but the idea actually has some merit.

Yeah but Iran sent 800 drones and they ALL got intercepted lol. Haven't seen one report of a shaheed actually making it to it's target in Israel. Hezbollah got some hits with smaller drones and a ten minute flight time from lebanon but the iranians are too far away and the drones too slow to penetrate 1000 miles of constant intercepts on the way. Interestingly a lot of those drones are approaching from the north east golan flying over the syrian border area. Don't know why.

Explain to me slowly what you think a "report" is.
>>
>>531175241
Is it better to send 800 drones, 500 intercepted or 350, 50 intercepted
>>
>>531175637
In this case, a report is something that can get you a 5 year prison sentence in Israel according to George Galloway and others.
