Nukes used to be a deterrent. A weapon so powerful we don't want any side to use them because it's scary.Times have changed. The nukes have been demystified. They are nothing special, it's basically just a big bomb and they are not really worth using. While you can jerk off about how big of an explosion muh Tsar Bomba makes, it's completely impractical in war. The bomb is very big and very heavy, it would be easily shot down.A majority of nukes would be shot down and drop onto countries you didn't intend to bomb. The ones that get through would be smaller ones and the blast would be comparable to MOAB, which is big but not really a game changer.The switch has happened where nukes have gone from a deterrent to just an excuse to invade countries. Iran building a nuke isn't scary, it's just an excuse to bully them and invade.
