That sucks. In germany you get a bunch of money back. If you get a really cheap one the rates are managable. Just look at the rates of the cheapest one and see if it is lower than what you pay for fuel each month.

It is really only worth it if you cn charge at home anyway.
>>
Man im glad i have this at least
>>
>>531177304

No idea how things look like in Poland, but Diesel in Germany is right now >30% more expensive than supermarket oil.

Buy an old diesel that can use salad oil as fuel. Some need new oil filters and stuff, but can be adapted for cheap.

Chances are the spread may remain persistant.

There's 3 of these Renaut Twixies in my neightborhood. They look fun. Range is like 50-100km; total cost 10k for a new one. Use a bunch of solar panels and you've got close to zero cost.

You really missing out on something. Carports with solar panels and everything cost like 3k Euros. Shit's gotten really cheap. Most expensive thing is labor cost, unless you do it yourself.

If you're looking at time horizon of 5-8 years the economics check out.

I helped my dad get and apply for grants and tax rebates and he got 12 solar panels+electric converter+install costs for free lmao

Over a 5 year period you are actually PAID to put solar up

Well allow me to be skeptic about the "decreased prices of solar panels" after everything is increasing in price thanks to inflation and oil/greater israel wars in iran. 2 years ago it would cost between 18-25k to cover your house roof in decent chinesium solar panels+installation(workmanship mounting+inverter+a few batteries) 10kW system . Now you add the golf cart slop to it and it's 35k that you're supposed to breakeven on from a measly eletric bill + fuel . I'm not sure if there's still a subsidy system for this in here but i know you had to wait years to qualify for it ..

How ridiculous. I have so many bills and expenses that the price of petrol going up by a small percentage really isn’t even something I notice. I ride a bike everywhere anyway. Truth is the government already steals about 20% of what I earn and plan to steal more. Then they redistribute it to people who don’t work. Petrol is really small fries, I’d have enough money to pour petrol on the ground if I wasn’t robbed in every paycheque. These are all just excuses to justify more control. And you’re falling for the panic they want. Once again of course it’s all just “muh trump” at the end of the day but they want the whole world to pay so they can run another Covid “we need to do this” scam.

yeah teslas a cool an all, but they are the apple (computer brand) of cars. They can restrict your access to certain systems remotely. > +a few batteries

Why the batteries?

> Now you add the golf cart slop to it and it's 35k that you're supposed to breakeven on from a measly eletric bill + fuel

Picrel shows solar carport prices. You end up with ~14k for both together. That would be 2k * 7 years and you have close to zero additional costs. Assuming you're using it 250 days per year you come out with ~8 Euros per day for the entire mobility package.

Now look at what alternatives cost you.
>>
I just think it’s funny that people will fall for this stuff. In 1979 the largest fuel increase in NZ happened because the Mullahs took over Iran. NZ’s response? Ban you from driving your car. About 30 years later the same people have the same control over our fuel supply and no one cares until now? Seems ridiculous. And then on top of that, the extra price of fuel is absolutely nothing compared to all the taxes, rates and other robberies occuring daily all around us. Yet “oh please panic about your temporarily slightly more expensive fuel, oh by the way we also need that 20% of your income every week but don’t worry about that it’s all fully justified”. A world of absolute lemmings. And I ride a bike.

That's only a problem if someone actually buys your second-hand electric slop . In Romania you would not find buyers for that garbage, I could easily sell a bmw, mercedes,vw,toyota with ICe after 100-150k km but can't say the same about teslas.
>>531179825
>I'm talking solar for 2nd car only.
4.5k eur car port + 10k golf cart

Amazing, now calculate how much you would've consumed on fuel [for a 2nd car and 50k km range which i'm guessing you're not using too often] compared to the total cost of such an investment that you will never recover since nobody will buy a used 2k electric golf cart from you after 7-10years of usage. 14.5k in how many years? decade? and for what? to appeal to libtard commie trannies in the government like a good conformist goy? You could easily put 14.5k in an index fund and gain more profits from it than a cuckmobil with its cuckshed.

>AI SLOP: so 7% per year after inflation on a 14.5k euro investment how much is that in 10 years?
>We’ll treat it as compound growth at 7% annually (real return).
>Result:≈ €28,500(investment + profit).

>Why the batteries?
Because if we all did it without them the electric grid would collapse even with only carports for cuckmobiles. This slop works only when a few retards do it.

There are really cheap ones. If you are in the market, you should actually do the math (if you are willing to drive a cheap eco box). I am pretty sure it is worth it for people who drive a lot.

We had to pay like 10k up front, 6k we got back from the government (makes 4k). Then 150 bucks per month for rates. This can easily be cheaper than ownership of combustion vehicle.

> now calculate how much you would've consumed on fuel [for a 2nd car and 50k km range

When you're commuting 2x15km with the Twixy for 200 days per year plus 30% other rides that would be 54k km in 7 years. Total gasoline cost saving is ~6k Euros. Discounts on taxes, insurance and repairs etc amount to another ~50 Euros per month totalling ~4k Euro over 7 years.

The numbers do pretty much check out, at least for retarded German taxes and shit.

> conformist goy?

I can literally ride out the breakdown of society as well as totalitarian rule. I consider it >50% likely that we get serious lockdowns for whatever reason, which could start any time and will last at least into the 2030s. Independent mobility is worth a lot in such a scenario.

> You could easily put 14.5k in an index fund and gain more profits from it than a cuckmobil with its cuckshed.

I see insecurity of the near to midterm future as the biggest cost factor. This creates massive short term preference. Tangible wins, which means you buy it now, so you have it and you don't have to scramble in a year or so to get half the value.

Overall even just the feeling of likely being fine despite the apocalypse is worth the investment.
>>
>>531181198
This. There is 0% financing on cars with bulk payments in the beginning and end now.
So you effectively save a shitton of money, because you pay 10k, then 300 bucks per month which gets surpassed by inflation for 5 years, and then another 10k.
>>
>>531180590

> electric grid

Goal has to be to go offgrid completely. Thanks to retard German electricity prices solar+battery+backup generator has reached break even last year. This especially when you can build it yourself.

> In case of apocalypse

Apocalypse is going to look a lot more like plague with negligence & decay instead of open war & kinetic destruction.

> Or you guys could just ,,you know,, build a nuclear powerplant after you get rid of Merz.

Not going to happen. It's designed to be made impossible on state level. Decision for nuclear should have been made by private sector a decade ago and then built 20 reactors on Czech side of border. But they rather went to China with their factories, because less stress.

Right now we've got ~10GW coal power in cold storage. But it's getting less, because they're blowing up one after another, so they can't be switched on again if situation becomes too dire and/or AfD gets into charge.

We also have as much natural gas in the ground as the Dutch. Would be enough for 30 years, but it's illegal to get it out because eco crap.

Note: Merz is the conservative guy. First thing his gvt did was to put CO2 neutrality until the 2040s into the constitution. Getting this out again is close to impossible without revolution.

Morgenthau won. The grand retardation is going to happen. Best thing is to go off grid and just don't care anymore.

Absolutely impossible.
Example: Italy
You are not allowed to produce and consume your own energy, every single private solar panel or turbine has to be connected and inject your produce into the grid, and the provider sells it back to you, at a "discount".
Energetic dependancy of the peasant is not negotiable for any existing state, otherwise the undesirable social experiments such as multiculturalism break apart immediately and energy-indipendent breakaway communities become commonplace.

some people are not do nothing shut in neets that drive to visit others, or possibly work. hell i drive an hour just when i want sushi. in some gay electric bullshit youd have to sweat how much of a charge you have or wait to charge it, or charge it after leaving. i dont think about how much fuel i have until i happen to look at the dash while driving then pull over and fill up.

Solar panels are pretty good these days. It would take less land than the corn we grow for ethanol fuel. The real issue is storing the energy, but it seems like there is a breakthrough coming soon.

> You are not allowed to produce and consume your own energy

Holy crap, what a nightmare! I thought Germany is bad in this regard, but at least so far they leave you alone when going offgrid...

Europe could be so amazing, esp Italy, if only those fucked up communists weren't in charge.

> you dont need a petrol car

We have a thing called autobahn with no speed limit (the last freedom they allow us to have). A car that can't go >200kp/h for at least 2 hours straight is considered a donkey cart.

> u cannot be expected to charge it on a long trip

Small electric car is supposed to be 2nd car for daily short trips. Main car is gasoline.

Looks to me like that breakthrough is called Iran War.

Can you mix it with booze to fix that? I've been considering whether to go electric, veggie oils or vodka for car.
>Electric is fucked in winter. Even a turbine likely won't do much and needs maintenance
>Veggie oil car would be ok but still need to source oil from somewhere
>Vodka car means I'd have to source a lot of vodka and possibly go alcoholic

Oil+water results in an emulsion. Would never stick together, you'd have to stir it all the time or add other compounds.

Best thing is to stick to proven recipes in proven engine setups.

What about 90% stuff? Couldn't I mix it then siphon off the water? Trace amounts left probably wouldn't be a problem.
