Now, Google is beginning to replace news headlines in its search results with ones that are AI-generated. After doing something similar in its Google Discover news feed, it’s starting to mess with headlines in the traditional “10 blue links,” too. We’ve found multiple examples where Google replaced headlines we wrote with ones we did not, sometimes changing their meaning in the process.

Would be based if it was to remove clickbait
>AI reads the article
>changes headline to be more accurate to content of the article

Good thinking, but since it's Google, you just know it'll be used for cucked purposes.

The links in search results are Google's property. They can do whatever they want with the "headline" (blue link text). The actual headline is on the owner's website. Google isn't changing that.

Might actually be a good use for local AI. Do a search, AI reads the articles linked, and gives you accurate summaries instead of the clickbait headline. Probably also fucks with the ad revenue system since the articles get loaded but only read by your AI if you don't read the article text.

Seems like a new business model uwu especially for b2b proofits

The problem with AI is its already leaked to our enemies, through those DOGE guys. They should be investigated for any financial frauds or accepting money from foreign sources/ enemies. It should not exist in a private company, as a mass surveillance system. Database leaks are too big of a problem for USA as it is also holding up our stocks…
Foreigners should not have any way to get our intelligence, especially in private companies, or agents inside doing leaks
DOGE kids fucked us. Foreign military is going to eventually fuck us with our own surveillance and AI systems. President is running up the bills and doing nothing

As far as gamifying headlines, its totally manipulative, against the do no harm policy they abandoned. Google is fighting for its existence, and their AI systems are not as good / useful than other companies
