I can make shit like this in 5 seconds.
I used to have to pay jeets like $5 for this and it would take days.
>>
>>531220443
You needed AI for that??
>>
>>531220443
>FOR FREE
for now

all the search engines were fantastic, but now look at them.
>>
>>531220443
did you use standard chatgpt / gemini ? Or some stable diffusion img2img stuff?
>>

Art is going to become a hobby rather than an active manually made career anymore. It will only serve as a niche side-gig for specialty purposes. I realized this as a writer about a year ago, when AI writing bots started coming out. It's still rough around the edges, but it can mostly do the same thing 95% of the writers out there can do. The 5% left with genuine talent are going to also be niche.

AI literally killed the arts, and I'm all for it. It's been the nest-egg of retarded liberal faggots for almost 80 years at this point.
>>
>>531220443
It always does better when given a context. I think a quick sketch might be worth a few bucks still given how it makes the end product that much better. It's a better form of prompting than words alone can accomplish.
>>
>>531220925
nah just grok, took some whiny artfags drawing from r9k and told grok to make it look like a pen & ink watercolor from the 1920's

I just goto Grok.com and attached the file and wrote "make this into a full color illustration"

It does imitiate the aquarell look decently, but the feltpen looks like AI still, an artist would not draw the lines like that, esepcially in the face
>>
>>531220443
this is just a special case of what will happen to all all white collar work
Though that won't happen for a few more years

it seems to have pretty much copied the lines straight from the original, an experienced sketcher would probably get something much better out of it

Maybe not in Gopnikstan, but in the civilized world you would easily be able to at least earn a meager living churning out art.

Now all that's left is being a tattoo artist.

I'd imagine an ai machine that come tattoo an image perfectly onto someone won't be too far away

That looks very good, it did change the lines a lot which may be good or bad depending on what you want.

You get use Grok for free for about 10 to 20 image generations and then there is a cool down period where it rate limits free users for about two hours.
Same with Google Gemini.
If you use them both you basically have free AI image generation all day.
>>
>>531221955
interesting, ChatGPT seems to be constructing a completely new image which uses inspired concepts, grok in OPs image is more a stable diffusion style transfer variant that perturbs local style but keeps everything else the same. Both have disadvantages; personally haven't found one that gives a really good amount of control over scene and appearance yet while remaining "artistically plausible"
>>
>>531222050
Doing design commission isn't art, retard.
Like how back in the USSR you could make a decent living just churning out busts and portraits of Lenin. No way in hell is that "art" though.
>>
>>531222313
It looks like complete 100 percent ass.
Holy cow NPCs are ruined beyond repair.

I know it's trendy to call those artists because art has this whole cult around it, but they're not.

Most of the great pieces of art from history that you would recognize were made on commission. Almost all of them.
>>

OP, I know you're an imbecile but try to understand that oil on canvas is not the same as pixels on screen. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

what do you prefer about the original? it's pretty messy, grok made that kind of work though with the watercolor and ink instead of pencil
>>
>>531222050
>Now all that's left is being a tattoo artist
There's a lot of commission work in tattoos also. I know at least one scumbag "digital nomad" who slums around Asia while earning commissions for his tattoo designs from studios in the US. Now AI is gonna take those away from him.

Commission isn't the problem, dipshit. Making portraits of Lenin for a jannie's wage is even worse.

The AI slop is even more messy, and also fucked up the facial expression.

In the distinctive style of Arthur Rackham's Golden Age illustrations from Irish Fairy Tales, 1920 edition: whimsical yet slightly melancholic and mysterious mood, intricate detailed pen-and-ink linework with expressive wiry lines, subtle layered transparent watercolor washes in muted earthy tones -- soft sepia, pale greens, muted blues, delicate pinks and lavenders, high contrast in shadows and highlights, rich textured details, dreamlike fusion of realism and fantasy, vintage book illustration aesthetic, no modern elements --stylize 600 --v 6
