To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand atheism. The reasoning is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of philosophy and science most of the arguments will go over a typical person’s head. There’s also the atheist’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into their worldview, their personal philosophy draws heavily from Enlightenment thinkers, for instance. The adherents understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these ideas, to realize that they’re not just contrarian, they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who believe in religion truly ARE idiots, of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the insight in phrases like “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,” which itself is a cryptic nod to centuries of rationalist thought. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as pure reason unfolds itself in debate. What fools… how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Darwin fish on my car. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the enlightened eyes only, and even they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own, preferably lower, beforehand.
