In all honestly people from Europe reached america before. For a fact vikings reached vinland and supposedly lived in north america. All those tribes were pretty fucked up and the aztec for example lost partly because everyone hated them and smallpox.

Montezuma was lighter skinned than the rest of the Aztecs. This is recorded in the Bernal Diaz book. This suggest that White people are the master race, no matter where they go.

Then, when a lot of master race Spaniads arrived, the Aztecs couldn't keep pace.

Mexicans? Really?

Quetzalcoatl was depicted as a red-haired and bearded god. The reason that Cortez was welcomed as a returning god, is because White men had visited SA many years before. It was likely Atlanteans, who resided in heligoland, which was a peninsula, but were displaced by a flood around 4000BC, according to geological records. They then circumnavigated the world, sharing technology, civilization and dna, before becoming the sea peoples in 1200bc, then becoming the Scythians in 800bc, then disappearing around 400bc, migrating to Scotland and Ireland, where we see their red-haired descendants today.

They did.
It just made no sense to sail west without knowing if you would ever reach land.
Maybe some cunt went a month or two before turning back.
Also, when Europeans "discovered" America, they either already knew from high sea fishermen or they were already planning on a really long trip to reach Asia.
>>
>>531229734
This. Too many people obsess over recent history. People have been connected over great distances for a very long time. However, during the dark ages of Europe those distant tangential connections broke down. Then when they were reestablished. People who were ignore of the past declared "we found the new world."

Romans had copper that can be traced to the great lakes. The knights Templar were in the Americas as well long before. Columbus intentionally flew the Templar flag on his ships after he figured out their secret knowing that some natives would recognize it from prior positive interactions. He used that trust and abused it and ended up in chains just a few short years later.
>>
>>531229314
It wasn't Romans, it was Tartarians, they were all oever the globe with their star forts, pyramids, free energy and matter transmutation (they didn't have plumbing, heating or toilets in the buildings we inherited, so clearly had another method of providing and disposing).

Roman ships were not suitable for the open sea.
Ironically, the tech to cross oceans was either developed in China or India and later adopted by Arabs and then absorbed by Portuguese and Spanish people.

If they did reach the Americas, it was by accident, in small numbers, and they probably never were able to go back.
>>

No, not mexicans. Those mines are around the great lakes.
>>
>>531232580
You are confusing it.
The Amerindian one was made by carving water paths in stone/hard clay. But the water stayed dirty for an entire week after any rain. Then the Spanish build, using the Roman ones as an example, to get "clean" water.
This shit is well documented; there are records of how much this cost and how many people were involved in the work.

Nords actually described their sea adventures, but their ships were also not very suitable for long distances (as attested by the records of the colonisation attempt of Greenland by Erik the Red, where 1/3 of the ships were lost).
Not hard to see why they gave up on North America and Greenland (especially after the Black Plague that wiped out the superpopulation).

There is absolute no evidence of Carthaginian presence in any part of America.

>Anti-European propaganda.
The Arabs who built the first transatlantic ships were technically European, as they had lived in Europe for 800 years until the Reconquista.
The Arabs could not sail long distances because they had a ban on alcohol, and at that time, it was impossible to preserve water for long periods of time (a trip from Europe to any part of the Americas took about 3 months); Europeans could brew their beer as they went and have access to "small beer" that was potable.

Columbus straight up did not believe the calculations that accurately demonstrated he was not going to be able to make the voyage to Japan. Great article, but it's a nothing burger.
Either a stray Roman or Greek ship caught in a storm off Europe's western coast, drifting straight over to Yucatán, just as the tradewinds go.
Or, the artifact was on an early voyage such as that from Columbus, and traded with natives for gold. According to the timeline presented by the article, that would've given several decades for the artifact to have wound up buried in a tomb by 1510.
Or, a "cheeky archaeologist" messing with the dig and planting an old Roman head there.
Far, far more likely scenarios before you even get to the most remote chance that Romans actually settled in the new world before Columbus
>>

Cogs had flat bottoms to better sail rivers and deep shallow ports. Really not suitable for open sea trips.
And the name carrack literally is an adaptation of an Arab name.

If this makes you feel better, Europe and Asia were completely outclassed by catamarans. A fucking tribe that could not even master the simplest metals made small ships that literally made circles around what were at the time the fastest ships in Europe.
Europe only became the indisputable master of technology when they decided to overspend and put metal in their ships and steam engines. At that point the whole world became their bitch.

Correct. Norseman.
'Vikings' technically is a word for raiders.
Norsemen were pretty good sailors (low-profundity sailors); they went all the way from Iceland to Iran (Caspian Sea), trading slaves and stuff.
Yes, they did reach Canada and attempt to settle Greenland, but they could not handle the logistics, and everyone in those colonies died.

We are not discussing who got first to America; anyone could have been lucky enough to be carried to Europe in a fucking tree if he survived the trip by a miracle. We are talking about people who had the capability to come and go when it pleased them.

Diseases also helped a lot.
Natives had no immunity to flu, cholera and other gifts that only the megacontinent of Eurasia can provide.

The Aztecs also relied entirely on a pyramid scheme of slavery. When Europeans started to arrive in what is now Mexico seeking gold, the opportunity for vengeance against the Aztecs was seen as a blessing.
Cortéz did not march on Tenochtitlan with a handful of horses and a couple of cannons, like we learn in school.
He had amassed an incredible army of natives and led a rebellion against the Aztecs that crippled their entire empire overnight.

We do have evidence of Norsemen reaching the Azores because researchers sequenced the DNA of rats (those islands are filled with rats) and found that rats in one of the islands came from Scandinavia, and the only way they could become the dominant rats was if they came there first and were allowed to breed freely.

>white people invented everything
There are preserved remains of ships with sails from the time when Scandinavia was a 10km tall block of ice. Literally before the fjords were made by the ice melting and sliding.
What you call "white" is a varying admixture of Anatolian hunter-gatherer (AHG), Western Hunter Gatherers (WHG), Eastern Hunter Gatherers (EHG) and Western Steppe Herders (WSH).
The only difference between different regions of Europe is the percentage of admixture of each group.

Also, nothing is really invented but discovered and improved. From looking at a tree floating, to a dugout canoe, to a bunch of trunks tied together, to a sail, and so on until we reach the fucking spaceships. Places like China did A LOT of things first. Hell, 80% of what we eat was domesticated by the Chinaman. Yeah, Europe contributed to it; we made synthetic fertilisers and changed the world forever too. But claiming that we invented everything because it feels right is just stupidity.

True.
We know for sure they had come to Brazil before 1495 because in 1495 a massive epidemic of syphilis started in Naples after French troops went there. And after that, it take over all of europe.
Recently a lot of bodies were exhumed, and someone managed to sequence the virus and found a very disturbing genetic resemblance with natives from Brazil that died before the arrival of Europeans.
Basically, our natives were immune to syphilis, but many of them carried the disease, and when sailors arrived here, they had too much fun and went back to Europe with the curse of the New World.
I personally think it's very interesting the effects of syphilis in european history. People changed their clothes entirely to hide the disease.

And the lack of early syphilis outbursts in Europe is also the reason why I claim that if Europeans did arrive in America way before Columbus, they never came back, because syphilis was endemic to the Atlantic littoral.

If you look at the pyramids across the world they all have similarities. They also line up with the constellations. What kind of people do you know that used stars and charts to navigate other than Europeans?

>>
>>531243294
no problemo.
Also, if you want a good first reading.
Look up for "Ahmad ibn Fadlan" (worst case scenario, just download a pdf)
He was an Arab diplomat who was banished from Baghdad because he fucked the wife of someone. He was sent to the court of the Bulgars in what is now Russia (the Bulgars first lived in the Volga River before coming to europe), but in the middle of the way he was attacked by bandits and was saved by Norse traders who spared his life and took him to Scandinavia because some old lady said he was a lucky amulet (they were very superstitious).

The reading is quite short and filled with part real stuff he did not understand (like whales, or snow, or why days last longer in the north in the summer) and part fiction (literally cave people that venerate fat women).
Very amusing reading, and a somehow different view on vikings (most of what we know about them was written by church people after they sacked their churches).
I guarantee you that you will not get bored.

Hernan Cortez was a small time criminal who fled Cuba on a stolen ship with a handful of other criminals on tow, his army was 95% natives of tribes that were subjugated by the mexica, who he recruited primarily by using his native wife Malitzin as an interpreter to prey upon their disatisfaction with the current regime, upon his arrival at Tenochtitlan Cortez was initially treated kindly by the locals until he started acting like a dickhead and then he was succintly kicked the fuck out of the city and left to cry like a bitch under a tree for days, and the only rrason he could take the city days later was because his little visit had left the entire place riddled with smallpox and because his men cut off the water of the city, causing the illness to fester further, he then took the emperor, ill and almost dying, and tortured him for no reason.
The whole thing was a retarded shitshow.

It's actually much simplere than that, there is evidence all over the continent that amerindians were in contact with europeans since the time of the vikings, the end, when and how that carving got here is unimportant, we know that Columbus was not the first european to make it over here, that is an undisputed fact.
Of course, that doesn't mean a large contingent of any amerindian population was related by blood to europeans save for the rare native woman who got fucked by a viking, so saying the mexica were actually romans is a colossal stretch, and most roman blood in modern Mexico clearly arrived with the conquest.

Look at chromosomal haplogroup dispersals among North American native populations. About 60% have what can be classified as European chromosomal genetic R haplogroups. That's not even broaching mitochondrial haplogroups X, which is about 70% in native Ojibwe. The standard explanation is rape, but that's a lot of raping to do in a very short amount of time.

>>
>>531254585

>Romans had some absolutely fuck huge ships that could cross any sea.

That's not necessarily true. They had some beasts of a ship, see Actium, yes, larger than quinquiremes, but those huge ancient ships with rather flat bottoms are particularly ill-suited to cross the Atlantic, it's very stormy. And the Greeks and Romans, probably even the Phoenicians, the entire Classical Antiquity Mediterranean sailing tradition was to hug the coast. They would sail within site of the coast unless they were hiding from some enemy, spend the night ashore, if possible, cook their meals ashore, and rarely be able to carry more than a few days' supplies.

The medieval caravels, with its tall mast and deep waterline is much better suited for the task. Those thousand years of (granted very gradual), nautical innovation were not superfluous here.Where even, is a primarily sailing large Roman ship? Cuz otherwise how do you carry water for 170 rowers across the Atlantic? With 20 supply barges that are gonna get blown away first storm?
