I'm pretty sure at this point that democrats are too stupid to read charts. We've unlocked a new form of cursive.

"Job creation" my ass. When's the last time you went job hunting? Most of the listings are data scrapers that don't even email you, let alone give you an interview.

Once the tariffs kick in their will be a surge in employment.

>shut down economy

I feel (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) that interest rates were lower under Biden.

But yeah, we've been in a depression for a year now. Tech jobs have been reduced greatly and companies have been holding on to talent and hiring less while workers have been job hopping less.

Trump's tariffs didn't help (and obviously they wouldn't in the short term), but his gigantic ai infrastructure package may be a boon next year (or it could bust like AI).

But hey, at least we're going to die for Israel again and taking the fight to Iran.

Yeah, if Japan ('s current administration) also starts selling off the U.S. treasuries they hold, we could be heading to an even worse spot

>Recent data has revealed significant changes in labor force participation in the United States during the Biden administration. Nearly 90% of new job growth since early 2020 reportedly went to migrants. Of these, approximately 60% were illegal aliens.
>Immigrants secured over 4.7 million jobs, while native-born Americans gained approximately 645,000 jobs. As of April 2024, approximately 43 million working-age native-born Americans were not in the labor force.
>Among those out of the labor force, the share of native-born men not in the labor force grew from 11 percent to 22 percent since the 1960s.
>Camarota wrote, “Not all the data has been released, but our preliminary analysis suggests that the share of working-age (16 to 64) U.S.-born men not in the labor force — neither working nor looking for work — is likely 22.1 percent in January 2025 and remains near a historic high for an economic expansion.”

well you dont need to create jobs when you are opening jobs by getting rid of illegal faggots

Rates were raised under Biden and Trumyhaz been pestering the FED to lower it, even threatening Powell with prison.
But the effect of interest rates pale in comparison to the AI boom. No one wants to invest in businesses that rely on labor that might get replace soon. And the AI industry itself takes up a huge % of the economy while employing relatively few people. And this shit started with during Biden’s term.

forcing people to get two jobs to afford the cost of living is a cheap tactic used to 'improve job numbers'.

We're both spot on.

Biden had much lower rates from 2021 to 2023, which corresponds nicely to OP's chart. 2023 was huge in that the federal funds rate jumped from around .5% near the beginning to 5% by the end of the year.

AI was big back then, but honestly, I think it's going to bust. This year, Facebook's stock and Oracle's stock both tanked a decent amount when their companies said they were going into deep debt for AI plans.

Back then (2021-2024), that might have boosted their stock, but investors (including large institutional ones) are really coming around to the idea that AI might flop.

If it does flop, we'll have a lot of empty data centers that are currently being built, but hiring and jobs numbers may recover if it does flop.

I think an interesting and maybe best case future would be that AI usage in LLMs and agentic AI crashes, but that AI use in robotics takes off and I get me a programmable waifu sexbot

During Biden's presidency U.S. citizen job growth was negative, and all the job growth was from illegals and foreigners. Wish I could pull up the data, but it was a real thing.
>>
>>531240321
Literally all of the Biden era job creation were government fake parasite bloat jobs, Trump firing them all makes the numbers look horrible
>>
Don't need to create jobs if you're deporting the people who took those jobs in enough volume.
>>
>>531240321
How many of those jobs were made by and given to shitmigrants who only hire their own?
>>
>>531242111
The US president has limited control over monetary policy. His tools are basically debt, reserves and taxation. Interest rates, rediscount, QE and other more obscure tools fall under the prerogative of the Federal Reserve, and Trump still hasn’t managed to seize control of it yet, so you can only blame him so much (or give Biden credit).
It is important to note that Trump very much follows an expansionist monetary policy by increasing debt and decreasing taxes. He would have lower rates too if he could get away with it, but neoliberal economics start to panic when the economy starts growing with no interest rate hikes. Biden was also expansionist, but at least he wanted to implement a countermeasure in the form of taxation.
>but hiring and jobs numbers may recover if it does flop.
After 10 years, maybe. But no economy escapes losing 30% of its gdp unscathed. But they can’t back down now, so they just pray that it doesn’t go bust.
>>
>reads thread

I guess the only way to defend this is to deny it.

Good.

>>531240321
This was the "gig economy" yeah? Where everyone was working for uber and doordash
>>
>>531240321
Pretty sure Biden's job creation numbers are jobs returning after being lost during the pandemic faggots.
>>
>>531243247
Pathetic, your president sucked so much ass you fags have to make qualifiers for millions of jobs
