What do you mean? It's pretty clear most people don't care about nature. Sometimes they care about the aesthetic of living things, but not actually what's natural. For example, the vast majority of what we plant that isn't agriculture is ecological styrofoam and horticultural atrocities. Rarely is it something native within 200 miles.

Temperatures have been much higher and lower. We experience wild temperature swings every year from summer to winter.
