I struggled for years and dealt with alcoholism and depression after getting out.I don't regret joining though, because it made me stronger and capable of pushing forward no matter how bad things got, and while I did use alcohol to numb my depression for several years, during the day I still worked as hard as I could to build a better life for myself, and it paid off. Today I have a job with a six figure income, amazing benefits, and I'm a successful investor, and I probably wouldn't have gotten here without the mindset I was forced to develop during my time in the military. It was worth it.

He cried drunk when be told me that story and said he never killed any babies.
