It's been a while since the last time.
But it did indeed happen during similar problems.
A fair not to the Chicken Littles out there though.
There's so much fuel spent on leasure/luxury that panic is dumber than dumb.
The last time to "rationing" just went

And that alone was enough to ensure that the utilitarian fuel needs was met with ease.

People are just panic buying as usual. The shortage is for commercial businesses, they have plenty of stock for individual households.

Smaller Hotels are relying on wood and electricity to cook , large ones still have dedicated contacts with suppliers with necessary stocks
