She was very naive to think she wouldn't draw attention from the state when she became popular in social media. A lot of kids don't understand that just because they're recording in their bedroom it doesn't mean they only exist in their bedroom once they start publishing. They become public personas. So you might think you're still an ordinary private citizen, but it only applies if your videos are getting handfuls of views. If you're making political content and start to get lots of views, you're basically like anyone else participating in public politics even when you're on your own, like it or not. Kids need to understand they enter the arena when they start publishing. If you're politically contrarian, of course the state takes an interest when your social media profile grows. At that point state agents will definitely look into your finances and lifestyle to figure out if you're independent or getting funding from outside actors. You should expect this to happen. The bigger you get the more likely it is your communications are monitored. It's the nature of the beast, the game of power and wealth. This is going to happen to you in every country on this planet. No such country where you can be very active politically and not be under some kind of surveillance, never mind if you're agitating against status quo. I think her paranoia stems somewhat from the reality she was a loner to begin with. It does affect how a person thinks, and not everyone is equally well-equipped to handle the delusions that arise from being on your own too much. She seems quite stable aside from the paranoia, and the paranoia is understandable anyway. The moment you first find out you're under surveillance it's going to shock you even if you're theoretically aware it could happen. I always thought she came across as sincere and as a genuinely good spirit. She is still naive about many things, but she's only 25. She should continue to think critically, of everything.
