And it will never go back down.
All of these crises are planned. The ultimate goal is to make everything more expensive and "force behaviors" towards a microscopic ultra elite that rules over a global impoverished serf class through overwhelming technology. You know, for the sake of Saving The Planet!
The Albaneses, Rineharts, and Abbots will dance in the palaces and eat steak while the rest of us eat rice and cricket powder, and fight for scraps against infinite diversity in our ethnic ghetto-enclaves.

I'm really starting to hate the antichrist.

Is it actually even possible for us to avoid a major crisis now? Seems inevitable that we are running dry, even if naval traffic resumes right now, I think there would be a few weeks of catch up

>Have ON vootershills figured out that getting an OVERALL primary voote bump doesn't mean all of those vooters vooted in the same electorate yet?
What argument are you trying make? Density? If ON's primary vote is weighted in the suburbs/regions, dead in the inner city that means that their actual primary vote is higher than the national average where it needs to be.
The party needs to start taking over the suburbs, making their support visible.

I'm less confident about Farrer now after SA, Libs appear to be rebounding a little at the moment.

Putting aside that the man is now a lolcow, who in their right mind would want to be preselected as a "GERARD RENNICK PEOPLE FIRST" candidate instead of an actually viable One Nation candidate?
He is really going to struggle finding quality candidates and if he decides to run nationwide, he'd be getting all of the jeet donor candidates.

One Nation's popularity will attract quality candidates and force a lot of otherwise unpolitical people out of the woodworks.

I think the next election will see an end to 'Independents' and microparties

More than one recent poll had results that would translate to ON gaining 50+ lower house seats.
I actually think this is understated too given just how competitive ON was in some of Adelaide's safe Labor suburban seats. They consistently saw 10-20% swings in their favour against Labor in seats that the Libs never stood a chance. That was off 22% statewide-vote, at the high 20s, I think those seats are flipping orange from red.

Momentum is everything, it's very likely that the oil crisis will tank Labor's primary to as low as 15-20%

The next issue is all the OneNotion seat gains are going to be rural as they wipeout the Nats and cuntry Libs.
Meanwhile the innercitys become shitfights between Labor-Greentards-TealKarens and eventually actual Raghead and Streetshitter ethnic parties as more and more of them get vooting rights.
The long-term positive is to Rexit the cuntry seats into seperate states as Shittney and Pozbourne become useless blackholes of shitskins.
Either officially by referendums or just by the cuntrycunts giving up on supporting them and going MadMax feral.

>the party gets jeeted
can't see this happening, if they preselect a jeet they wont be getting votes. The jeet the Libs ran in SA got absolutely mogged by Barry.

The Liberal strategists are begging them to pander more to jeets so I think Lib and Labor will be preselecting a lot of jeets in actually winnable seats, which would make our parliament look like Canada's.
I can picture ON putting one jeet candidate in somewhere like Parramatta and that being spammed on here daily by the smear merchants.

I'm a little worried with the spastics attaching themselves to ON at the moment and trying to define them. People like Monica Smit, Avi, Rukshan, etc. These influencers are poison and the party needs keep them at a distance

It might be too late for that but Labor are desperately trying to expand the house at the moment so that they can gerrymander more urban seats specifically around dense jeet zones.

They aren't even pretending that they have some nuanced motive, they are just aggressively pushing it and saying it's necessary. If they do manage to get this passed in this term, it is 100% over, there will be a big ugly non-white bloc that is permanently going to hold the balance of power in parliament.
>>
>>531547328
>More than one recent poll had results that would translate to ON gaining 50+ lower house seats.
How. Many. Seats?

Simple question. Because all the conjecture and what-if polling doesn't mean shit.
& as has been pointed out - most of the positive polling for ON has come out of rural rather than suburban/cbd. Which will be great when Farmer Barry gets a video call from candidate Sukhdeep Ranshit.
>>
>>531550054
Yeah, they dgaf, as long as it holds up for the next election cycle so they can grab some more griftbuxx before it all collapses into innercity Shitskinistan.
>>
>>531550214
The polling in SA was very accurate.
>most of the positive polling for ON has come out of rural rather than suburban/cbd
This isn't the case though, their numbers are booming in the suburbs where Liberal and Labor voters are most fatigued by migration.

If anything, the SA election showed them underperforming rural seats, overperforming in the suburbs. ON is becoming the party for the working class and young parents which is why Labor are panicking and desperately trying to associate them with the ultra-rich

The Federal poll I posted had a massive sample of over 8000 respondents, which is much more than the norm.
That data doesn't distinguish inner city v suburban, it just has "Adelaide" which makes it a functionally useless data point. Of course, they will have a 10% ceiling in CBDs and commie utopias and do stronger in the outer suburbs, you can go look at the actual results of the election for analysis.

Also worth mentioning that Roy Morgan is a shit flip flop, poll and they were off the mark with this one, it was an outlier. The week-of election polls were much more accurate.

While right wing groups who reject Realpolitiks have lost in every state, every year, and continue to lose NSN is gained power in spite of the police, secret police, unions and left wing thugs all attacking them.

This is a stretch I'd say. Looks like a general sample size put over the whole of Australia. LNP is dead but the Nationals are still kicking. Liberals will probably be replaced with independents in a fair few electorate continuing the existing pattern. PHON is eating marginal shit lib seats over anything.
Labor is utterly gutless but I don't see their primary tanking. Tradies are still making a shitload of money and public servants are getting paid to do nothing. Labor vote is more likely to fracture down the Greens way than it is anything else. Labor has been so utterly benign that they still look like the safe bet and people won't risk chaos because that is what killed the liberal party.

The issue is that the fuel isn't ours, we didn't produce it, it doesn't come from Australia, we aren't entitled to it and cannot force other counties to send us any oil at all.

So commies will call for the government to steal oil from private companies, the result would be that private companies left and took their oil with them. The Australian government isn't prepared to start a national petro company and import crude from other governments, and that should tell you everything you need to know about the situation.

While scarcity and price hikes would seem to be a political problem for Labor, the reality is that they are the second biggest beneficiary of these price hikes.
Producing no oil, the government taxes against fuel act as a tax on the poor, a tax on wages and a tax on workers, whatever we pay, the labour government pockets.

And because taxes are based on profit not sales, price gouging will double the tax revenue of government on petro this year. The government wants everything the poor consume in private hands, unaffordable, taxable.

>>
>>531565923
>So commies will call for the government to steal oil from private companies
No they aren't. Your average 'commie' is telling the government to reduce the profit margins for Santos from OUR gas market and funnel that money back into the country. They are asking for our resources to be looked after properly, not steal boats.

We are in an insanely safe spot because of our LNG exports and that will cover any market rises. It isn't an oil shortage, it is a general energy and fertilizer shortage. We will make money out of this situation more than anything as a country, the average person won't see any of it. Those 'commies' would be cutting the fuel excise and putting a subsidy from the gas profits into reducing petrol costs.

Shit even the conservatives at this point are asking for capital tax breaks to be cut and that doesn't even get into the nonexistent inheritance taxes.

The RBA does understand how much people have in saving. The fuel is unrelated though, it is a fallout of a stupid war that wasn't thought out at all. The real scam is that the RBA gives out money to banks at the cash rate, banks give out the money +2% or whatever. Their margins look extremely thin but then you realise that there is no risk for the banks because fixed term only goes for a couple years.
A mortgage is supposed to be a 40 year thing and banks should be saying 'ok we will provide stable loans for 20 years at 4%' but the banks take no risk at all, they just extract a bit more out of people.

That is basically the scam of the Australian economy. There is no risk in investment for banks because all their money in housing. This means we have no real investment and all the industry gets offshored.

>Is it actually even possible for us to avoid a major crisis now?
No. It'll take more than a few weeks of playing catchup, it'll take months if not years for infrastructure, stockpiles, and supply chains to be restored to their prior capacity. We're entering a global economic and energy crisis that is going to hit retarded de-industrialised western nations like ours really hard.
>Normies are still asleep at the wheel as usual and wont prepare or care until it's too late.
Yes and I really hope you cunts at bare mininum have an emergency kit and have already started stockpiling water and food. Best case scenario is the cost of everything going up and reaching exorbitant levels, worst case is a mad max scenario of people fighting over fuel, food, and water. I reckon we're going to experience something in-between.
State governments generally have decent guides when it comes to emergencies or natural disasters if you need an idea of what to stock up on otherwise check Australian Red Cross and go from there.

Most people are a lost cause if they haven't learnt anything from the last half decade but I suspect some are already quietly accumulating extra groceries "just in case".

The timing of all this couldn't be worse... Diesel, Fertilizer, Ammonia, pretty much everything that makes modern life even possible is faced with supply chain disruption or shortages due to plant shut downs as well as the current situation in the middle east.

Ethanol petrol absorbs water when it is left to sit. It's fucking terrible and it's why you need to clean the carburetor out on your lawnmower every time you want to use it these days. If you don't know how to clean out a carburetor learn now while you can still watch a YouTube. Don't buy anything with a plastic carburetor, buy Honda or Honda lite (made in China products that still use Honda parts like some ryobi products) 95% of issues are solely down to you putting shitty ethanol fuel in your engine. Cleaning out the carby resolves most of these.

This is the main assembly. It has a float that shuts off when the carburetor is full and the needle screws inside and leaks petty fumes into the engine.

These gaskets and rings are particularly important. If the rubber ring is perished or squished (because you tightened it too hard fuckwit) it will leak air in and your engine may only run with full choke or not at all. Reading the public response to David Pocock’s proposal to impose a 25% tax on LNG export revenue has been revealing.

Assuming these comments are genuine—and not the result of coordinated influence—they reflect a level of economic misunderstanding that is difficult to ignore. A common claim is that Norway taxes its gas sector at roughly 78%, implying Australia should follow suit. What is consistently omitted is that Norway’s regime applies to profits, not gross revenue. These are fundamentally different tax bases, with very different implications for investment, production viability, and capital allocation.

What stands out is not just the misunderstanding, but the tone—there is a recurring sense of resentment and even schadenfreude, combined with a willingness to support policies based on optics rather than substance. There is little engagement with second-order effects or the structural consequences of these decisions.

This same dynamic is visible in support for the EU–Australia Free Trade Agreement, which is being framed as a win. In practice, it embeds a trade deficit and places regulatory and structural constraints on Australia’s domestic economy. At the same time, Australia is expected to supply critical minerals, meaning the environmental cost is borne locally while value capture increasingly shifts offshore. Australians are, in effect, being positioned to destroy their own environment while being forced to pay for it.

Taken together, this has led me to reassess the relationship between public sentiment, policy formation, and economic outcomes. When both political actors and the public operate on incomplete or incorrect premises, the result is policy that undermines long-term national interests while being presented as progress.

I believe Australia’s recent trade engagement with the European Union may weaken its financial position.
The agreement risks embedding structural imbalances, including regulatory constraints and potential trade deficits, which could reduce domestic competitiveness over time.

There are also broader regional implications. Tighter alignment with EU regulatory frameworks may complicate Australia’s economic integration with Indo-Pacific partners. This will indirectly affect developing Asian economies that rely on open, competitive trade flows, particularly if policy changes—such as proposed taxes on LNG exports as it will raise input costs across regional supply chains.

The push for taxing LNG exports, especially if framed around gross revenue rather than profits, risks distorting investment incentives and reducing Australia’s attractiveness as a stable supplier. If such policies are influenced by external regulatory agendas, they may further shift trade dynamics in ways that disadvantage Asian manufacturing while reinforcing European market dominance and further embed trade deficit here.

From a strategic perspective, maintaining open energy flows and cooperative trade relationships is essential for stability in the Indo-Pacific. Policies that introduce friction into these systems risk undermining both economic resilience and regional security.

For this reason I believe that Singapore should reallocate diesel away from Australia on the grounds that it requires it for regional security.

Australians need to experience strong economic pain in order to reconsider their policies away from the EU and towards a focus on regional security and shared prosperity, rather than aligning themselves with a socialist European superstate that undermines quality of life and perpetuates a cycle of debt.

Hopefully it gets so much worse for you all.

I hope that the situation in Australia continues to worsen, as I believe that suffering and economic hardships will force the nation to evolve for the better. Through their struggles, Australians can cultivate an understanding of the importance of respecting prosperity and the gifts that have been bestowed upon them.

This recent EU deal that they have entered into is poised to devastate the country financially and environmentally while the Green and Labor, continue to champion a trade deficit as a victory during a cost-of-living crisis.

Their response of offering free public transportation, increasing debt and tax burdens, and funnelling more money overseas is indicative of either their incompetence or moral bankruptcy.

Australia has only 5 days left (on soil the rest are on boats 90% is stored offshore and won't be here for a few weeks) and we still haven't declared emergency yet. They'll do it tomorrow I reckon and will limit it to emergency services only. In about 1-2 weeks there'll be a service NSW App update with your petrol ration, this is how they'll set your carbon credit limit in the future.

Australia should formally halt progression of the EU free trade agreement by declining to seek Federal Executive Council approval for signature or ratification, pausing all related executive actions on the basis that the current terms do not satisfy the national interest under prevailing economic conditions, including heightened cost-of-living pressures and the risk of embedding a structural trade imbalance.

Where required, the agreement can be subjected to JSCOT scrutiny without advancing toward ratification, using updated economic analysis and stakeholder submissions to substantiate non-proceeding. Concurrently, no implementing legislation should be introduced or progressed, ensuring the agreement cannot enter into force, while any further negotiation rounds may be deferred indefinitely by maintaining a position that the existing framework does not warrant continuation.

To give Australian policy makers a taste of what the EU trade deal could entail economically, we should restrict oil exports to Australia in order to provide them with a glimpse of the challenges they may face under the EU "free trade" deal. This will help them understand the potential consequences of entering into such an agreement and make more informed decisions for the future.

By doing so, we can promote shared prosperity and regional stability within the Indo-Pacific region while preserving Australia's vital role as a resource sector that benefits from the rise of Asia. At the same time, we can maintain our commitment to keeping socialist superstate regulations out of Australia, which have wreaked havoc on many advanced economies in the past.

This approach will ensure that both Australia and the Indo-Pacific region thrive economically and politically while maintaining a balance of power in the region.
