During Henry's reign, the Anglican Church was just Catholics minus the papacy. They moved further away after the Edwardian and Elizabethan reforms but they are still closer to the Catholic Church than any of the continental heresies, particularly among High Church Anglicans. That being said, at the end of the day they're still heretics who will suffer for rejecting the Holy Roman Catholic Church.
