>>531842616it burns pretty slowly really. you can imagine that that little bit of a redbull can doesn't hold very much fluid but it still burns long enough to cook eggs or boil a liter of water. rubbing alcohol is cheap everywhere. liter bottle cost a few dollars and will run you for weeks if used once or twice a day. the only cheaper and more universally available fuel would be twigs and sticks, but those can be wet sometimes and not everywhere is a good place to start a fire. the alcohol stove gives you a simple stove that produces no smoke.
