It pisses me off that the narrator is saying:
>We need to be transparent.
Then show the actual footage of the flight, not a fucking CGI spaceship. Does anyone else think this shit is fake, or am I being paranoid?

What do you expect them to do? Send an astronaut out on a tethered spacewalk with a gopro on a stick to get a shot of the silhouette of a black unlit ship against the backdrop of a black earth? There aren't any cameras just floating out there waiting for the payload to get into position.

I can hardly understand this post, I assume you mean NASA faked the moonlanding 3-4 times.
There is only one "recorded" instance of NASA landing on the moon.
How did they fake it multiple times then?
You can't fake the same event more than once.

the shitskin seethe from every rocket launch in the US is so insane

This is billion dollar operation. They could have used a telescope to record the spaceship, recorded the flight from inside the spaceship or something else.
They definitely could have recorded it.

They did, until it got far out enough that it became unfeasible to continually track it.
>recorded the flight from inside the spaceship or something else.
They have cameras on the inside but one of the unglamorous things that doesn't get talked about much at the normalfag facing pressers is that when you are in zerog for extended periods of time, shortly after entering it most people experience fairly bad nausea for hours, sometimes over a day. It's why you rarely see any footage broadcast from any capsule or the ISS during the beginning stretch of a mission. The people up there are mostly sick as hell and barely in a state to do the things that need to be done for the mission itself let alone putting on a smiling face and a cheery disposition for the camera. Plus nobody wants to see astronauts puking and shitting and groaning for 12 hours straight in zerog.

They unironically think Apollo 11 was named Apollo 11 for esoteric numerology gematria reasons not because it was the 11th mission of an over 10 year long program.
>>
>>532162899
>It got too far out.
You realize that it is a ten day trip back and forth and it isnt even close to reaching the moon.
Do you seriously think we dont have the technology to record it at that distance?

>The pilots got flight sick or something so they can't record from inside.
I meant that they would record the earth or space from inside the spaceship making it obvious that they are leaving.

Even that would be better than CGI.

The coverage today was fucking atrocious. Every feed I saw had babbling fuckwits who never shut the fuck up about the most banal, obvious and inane shit. Every camera was like it was operated by some 15 year old who never operated a camera before and wouldn't quit fucking with the focus and zoom. Screens were cluttered with meaningless graphic overlays.

They just took Apollo, made it 80 percent shittier and added smartphones and AI. $40 billion.

>Do you seriously think we dont have the technology to record it at that distance?
Have you ever tried getting a track on something in orbit? Obviously not. Even with extremely expensive equipment it's a crapshoot and even if you can get a smooth track you can only functionally get a few minutes of continuous footage per orbit from a given position in daylight. Atmospheric effects alone create enough of an issue that you can't see shitall on most launches past the first staging event let alone once its reached orbital insertion. Now this is for sea level and it'd be different if you were on a mountaintop where the atmosphere is thinner but how are you going to get those giant anti-aircraft gimbal setups up there to track a launch? Especially when launch sites specifically choose flat areas with coastlines to the direct east.

Or what, were you expecting them to realign hubble or james web to try to take shots of the capsule on the way out?

I dunno what you beaners have against space development. No, the NASA budget isn't going to be given to you instead.
>>
>>532164137
This is not merely "something" you act as if we are tracking a meteor. NASA has DSN, they can very accurately track the location of the spaceship at any given moment.

And even if they didnt use hubble, it is definitely within their capabilities to record the spaceship using a normal telescope during the low orbit flight.
>>
>>532159977
At 5:40:10, 5:41:42, 5:44:09 you can see the broadcast from a camera installed on a fin or on some periphery of the rocket as it's in space. You can see the earth's horizon from space in very laggy and artefacted footage, some of it even rendering backwards at times.

At 5:45:24 you see high quality video, smoothless and without chop of any sort showing the final phase of the rocket disconnecting. Why the laggy footage from before? Why is the camera here better than the other cameras? The rocket is moving faster than ever before so why isn't it lagging as well?

>it is definitely within their capabilities to record the spaceship using a normal telescope during the low orbit flight.
No it isn't. That's what I was describing regarding a sealevel track. The night sky or a moon or even a large planet is easy enough because you can pick and choose the clearest nights with the best atmospheric conditions and use all sorts of post processing to reduce distortion but for a live broadcast you're stuck with the conditions you have and the footage you get, which isn't going to be very good. Webm related is the best conventional capture hardware available to anyone in the world capturing the VSS Unity topping out at around a third the height Orion is at during perigee. And this is with a ship that goes straight vertical only interested in passing a specific altitude, not achieving orbital velocity making it infinitely easier to track. This is the best result you can possibly get from the ground and this is only a little higher at the end of the clip than Artemis II dropped its SRBs at. These guys are the ones who record engineering footage for internal NASA/Spacex/Blue Origin use.
