When I was growing up, you had to pass all sorts of exams and be at the top percentile just to get into a good program, and you could not use "i am poor and come from a violent home" as an excuse for not doing well because nobody cared. If you fail out on a 2.8 GPA then it was on you and you still have to fork over 40k for embarrassing yourself. Today youngshits get in for free and barely learn anything then graduate with a certified education.
