You could even think that in a way postwar Europe enjoyed 50 years of peace built on exclusion after the Nazis drove out the Jews, ironically.That’s why modern Europe promoting multiculturalism can seem contradictory from the begining when its stability was, at least in part, built on enforced homogeneity or exclusionary nationalism
